I've even had friends who were offended by his care, so I was pretty disappointed when I got scheduled with him. My pregnancy was healthy and it worked for my schedule so I saw him despite my reservations. When it came time to deliver my baby via C-Section, Dr. Biats really grew on me. He gave the impression that he really wanted to take good care of me. He made me feel confident that he would take good care of me. He coordinated my C-Section with an oncologist so that we could address the large cyst on my left ovary at the same time of my… C-Section. Im so greatful for Dr. Biats coordinating this for me so that I only needed 1 surgery rather then 2. Dr. Biats performed the C-Section flawlessly, recovery was problem free and the oncologist removed the cyst and saved my only ovary. I'm very satisfied with my care from Dr. Biats and would recommend him despite his terrible reviews!

I saw Dr. Biats because my original OB was booked. I was a little hesitant, because he was very quick with the appointments. But he delivered my son WONDERFULLY after a 33.5 hour labor, and saved his life! I couldn’t be more grateful for him!!!

I saw Dr. biats for my first pregnancy. He was very dismissive during my prenatal appointments, but his staff was fantastic, so they balanced him out. The big issue came during delivery. I ended up needing an emergency C-section. He cussed several times during the procedure. While I was open on the table, he said "oh sh*t" several times...not really comforting. After surgery, I ended up back at his office with severe incision pain. He prescribed an antibiotic and sent me on my way. I was back a few days later with increased pain. When he looked at my incision, his comment was, "I didn't do this, did I?" Not sure what he meant by that. I ended up with an awfully painful hematoma that I had to have drained several times. He knows what he's doing medically, but his bedside manner and arrogance turned me away.

After going to this practice for many years and being told to see Dr. Biats for hysterectomy and prolapse he dropped the ball. He can only do part of the surgery and I was told twice that he would personally call urologist to coordinate surgery and help with insurance. After waiting several weeks, I called his office and the secretary said oh yea I guess he never did that. Requested my records to be sent to another Dr. due to no response from Dr. Biats. So glad I found another Dr. who cared and has an awesome staff willing to help their patients.

He was recommended to me by my PCD. I believe it was only because he was associated with Falls Family Practice. Horrible. I had issues with long and heavy periods, cramping and pain. He told me I needed a total hysterectomy. I was only 25 at the time and I trusted him. He was the doctor not me. After the total HYST he gave me shots of testosterone and did nothing to help with the horrible symptoms. I told him it hurt when having intercourse and his reply was "It wouldn't hurt if you were with me" Yuck!!! I stopped going to him after that.. I HATE going to the GYN now. I'm scared to tell them if I have an issue. I do not recommend him at all. He truly should not have a license to practice. This has been many years but it weighed heavily on me to write a review. Please do your research before seeing him. Please.

My experience with Dr. Biats was the worst I've had with any medical professional, ever. After a threatened miscarriage diagnosis from a local ER, I had my first appointment with him, where he reviewed my test results from the ER and (I kid you not) and told me wirh an actual smile on his face that I definitely had a blighted ovum...without doing a single test of his own. He gave me a pills to pass the sac, which I took for a week without success. When we got ready for a D&C, the pre-ultrasound revealed there was a baby after all...thank God for that ultrasound or he would have aborted my baby solely based on his guessed diagnosis based on testing he couldn't be bothered to do himself.

I have seen Dr. Biats for almost 20 years. My mother also sees him upon my recommendation and both my daughters do as well. Dr. Biats is easy to talk to, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Biats to anyone looking for a OB/GYN.

Dr. Biats has been my OBGYN for over 15 years. I have always received outstanding care from him and his staff. He has a great bedside manor and is extremely skilled in his field. He has cared for me during two pregnancies and successfully delivered both babies with no complications even though I was induced for medical reasons. I would recommend Dr. Biats to anyone.
