After a fall and a broken hip due to osteoporosis, my 80 year old mother was operated on by Dr. Bindelglass and given a half hip-replacement. The surgery left her leg 1.25 inches shorter than the other. She is 4’ 11’’tall, so this is an enormous discrepancy on her frame. The result has been a serious decline in her quality of life. I strongly advise anyone and everyone to avoid this doctor. I had my own hip replaced (full replacement) at the Hospital for Surgery in Manhattan and the operation went beautifully and the result perfect. HSS (as they are referred to) now has offices in Stamford. They are among the most skilled and competent doctors in the world. I strongly urge anyone needing joint replacement surgery go there and avoid OSG of Fairfield.

This doctor operated on my hip and left me with a leg length discrepancy. I have read other victims of his that he operated on also with claims of leg length discrepancy.I would not recommend him to anyone. The quality of life lost to me and others cannot be replaced.

Just had total hip replacement and was so pleased with Dr Bindelglass, wonderful bedside manor, caring and extremely compassionate. I had no idea what surgeon I would use but after hearing all the positive feedback from people I spoke with in his office. So, Im one week post op and thrilled the surgery is over with, I would definitely go back to Dr Bindleglass if I need my other hip operated on. He's the best.
