Dr. David Binder is a doctor that tries to solve and cure your medical issues not just treat your symptoms. He genuinely cares. Easy to speak to..... Great communication.

Dr. Binder has helped me with my pain management immensely! I'd highly recommend him for any pain issues you're having. He's made such a positive impact on my well being.

He is a phenomenal Dr.

Dr. Binder doesn't care about his patients. He only cares about shooting you up with a cortisone shot, so he can make money. Don't waste your time with him. I waited a month to get in to see this guy and now I am finding a new doctor 3 weeks later. He never came up with a plan like to rehabilitate me. He gave me a shot and said call again if you're still in pain in a month. Dr. Binder just doesn't care!

Gentle, kind, caring, excellent doctor

One of the worst doctors I've ever had to deal with. Pretty simple: don't be a jerk to someone who came for help and is in pain. Kept me waiting for more than 1 hour after my appointment time, and showed no compassion or interest in coming up with a diagnosis. The Spine Service's website states that "during your initial appointment, our team will perform a complete evaluation . . . Then we will develop an individualized treatment plan to address your unique set of conditions and lifestyle goals." This is so far from the truth. Binder's profile states that he "places emphasis on incorporating a multidisciplinary approach focused on reducing pain, restoring function, and improving quality of life." Please don't pretend as if this is any part of your practice. I came in hoping to receive advice from a professional about an acute issue and also a long-term spine problem. He couldn't even be bothered to address the long-term spine problem I have been dealing with. When I… shared my experience with another specialist who referred me to Dr. Binder, the specialist said that the doctor clearly "brushed me off," and that we can look for other highly qualified physiatrists within Mass General Hospital.

He is one of the worst physicians I have ever seen. I was injured at work. All he cared about was my return to work fully knowing I was not able to, and stated so in my clinic note. Never once offered one suggestion for my return or treatment. All came from myself and nurse following my care. He made things so difficult I had to quit my job and quickly find another one while injured. Never cared about me as a person, only time he offered up anything was the night I ended up in the ER and he told them to send me home. He then came up with a treatment option. Ones pain becomes chronic when the doctor won't treat you for personal monetary reasons. As in, your insurance company sends you a denial letter and now he can bill private insurance. Run don't walk away from him. He's a very uncaring. Also, he takes notes for the day what's ends up in your chart is definitely not what you discussed, perhaps it was another patients notes. I went to another physician who explained my MRI,… Binder lied to me about mine. When questioned he was backed into a corner downplaying my results. Due to his giving the insurance company what they want, I was not being allowed to switch doctors.

Dr. Binder is fabulous. I have been a patient for 5 years. He has worked diligently to diagnose my back pain and treat it. He is kind,courteous and truly cares about his patients.
