Dr. Bodkin is the Best, very caring ??

I felt that the communication between Dr. Bodkin and myself was poor. I did not feel completely informed on my cancer diagnosis and when I questioned Dr. Bodkin he seemed to be a bit defensive. Dr. Bodkin's bed side manner was also poor and I felt belittled by him on more than one occasion. Over all I would not choose Dr. Bodkin for my Oncologist and my overall experience was poor.

I have a blood disorder where I make too many platelets. I was refered to Dr Bodkin by a personal friend who is also a hemotologist but could not treat me, because he is a Navy Dr. My friend knew that another hemotologist was going to place me on a drug called Agrylin, which has terrible side affects. He suggested I get a 2nd opinion from Dr Bodkin, who has me on a baby asprin instead. I am so grateful not to be on Agrylin, as my father was on it, and it was terrible. I feel like Dr Bodkin cared more about me as a person, that making money.
