Amazingly knowledgeable and compassionate. His office is always full but somehow with a lot of excellent help, things go on time. Wonderful office and doctor-and this means something because I am also a doctor and know how to spot an excellent one!

He is so caring and all the office staff are great me. I never have to wait long and he answers all my questions.

I have been seeing Dr. Boyer for over five years and find him absolutely excellent, brilliant and tops in his field. He's developed a painless injection of the eye.

Dr. Boyer is considered the most highly respected and knowledgeable Retinologist in the world. I have been a patient of his for many years. He listens to my concerns, fears & questions and explains my situation thoroughly.& with an accurate diagnosis. He advises me against any procedure that could be incorrect for me, nor does he rush me into any procedure for which I am not yet ready to undergo. I trust him completely and my trust has always proven to be rightly placed. His professional standards are exceedingly high, and his staff are equally qualified, efficient and kind. Office visits are well coordinated and efficiently organized. I have sent several people to him and they all have had their very serious visual situations diagnosed & treated successfully. I am very impressed about the trial and research he conducted on light therapy to improve vision, the approval of that trial and the recent application of Valida, a light therapy that is now available to patients. I've been seeing Dr Boyer for 5 yrs since I was referred by my optometrist for seeing flashes. Dr Boyer repaired my retinal tear on the spot & identified a couple of other issues to keep an eye on. His exams have been very thorough & informative (& interesting!) I have complete confidence in him. Since it's been 5 yrs without any change, he gave me the option to come back as needed rather than annually. I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience with Dr Boyer. 5 stars!

Dr. Boyer is excellent BUT he said his office would call me about receiving a PILL a for my advanced GA. Nobody has called. The waits between tests were VERY long and my driver was late for an app. at UCLA as I was nearly 4 hours with you.
