Dr. David Ware Branch, MD

I phoned Dr. Branch's office multiple times (in hopes of getting a different person on the phone). I would have liked to consider him for a pregnant TAC. Unfortunately the reception desk said that he refuses to speak to anyone on the phone. I would be traveling from out of state, and the only way they would let me find out if he would do the procedure is by coming in to the office. Very unfortunate.

So I went to Dr. branch because I had hyperemesis...a condition that makes you throw up continuously throughout the pregnancy. When I went to Dr. Branch he said there was no cure, and hesitated to put my on IV's for hydration, and medications ( because the oral meds were not working any longer). I also had to argue with him over getting ultrasounds regularly to make sure my baby was growing. In the end he estimated that my daughter would be 8 lbs when in reality she was born at 5 lbs 9 oz...there was something going on with me, but he obviously wrote off my problems and allowed me to risk my daughters health. The day I went into labor he was not able to be reached by the hospital, and never came by to check in on me...all I got was a phone call the next day ( a full 24 hrs after) saying hey sorry I was busy with family, and I guess your baby was pretty small. Dr. Branch also never checked my blood, unless I told him hey my levels looked a bit weird please check my blood. If you… want to be your own advocate and fight with a Dr. To get quality care, and risk the health of your baby- then knock yourself out with Dr. Branch. I wouldn't rather go out into the desert and deliver my own baby then have him be my OB again.

Dr Branch fed me truth in a time where every other Dr was trying to sugar coat things or offer false hope. After having my second miscarriage and was looking for answers, he provided every test and option available with no promises. If you're looking for answers, see Dr Branch. If you want a sugar coated fairy, go see someone else. I've moved out of state, and now I'm having my 5th miscarriage and wish there was a Dr like him in my area. He's done the research himself, so he isnt feeding you conjecture on someone else's findings.

Great Doctor, great staff, they are always nice and fast to call me back when I need it,worried when I wasnt well, tottaly professional, I strongly recomend him

VERY honest doctor. I only saw him once because my pregnancy ended in miscarriage. He told me there is no known explanation as to the why of my problem (something I was already told by other doctors)and presented to me the different experimental options to try to address my issues. He didn't sugar coat his answers yet I felt he was courteous and professional. He didn't spend time sympathizing about my fate and I liked it because I went to see him looking for answers and that's what I got as much as the circumstances allowed.

Dr. Branch delivered our pre-term baby at 27 weeks. He is very knowledgeable in the field. He is very blunt about any issues that may be wrong. Which was nice to know if there was a problem. He does not sugar coat things. He was very nice and took the best care of us at the hospital. We were very please with him.

I would give Dr. Branch 100 stars if I could. He has delivered my first two children and will now be delivering my third. I absolutely would never think of going to anyone but him. He is so knowledgeable, puts me at ease with anything I come across in my pregnancies/deliveries, and is very caring. Just an amazing doc!
