Dr. David Gary Brown, MD

Dr. Brown was my orthopedic surgeon. I need a new hip according to him , but he won’t put one in because I’m only 49 he tells me. I walk with a cane most days and cannot work because of this. He did one hip impingement surgery and because I had a second serious emergency surgery on something else I was unable to do physical therapy. I recently went into his office for an appointment. I waited an hour and a half, which is typical and he didn’t even look at my hip or examined me in anyway he told me to stretch and walked out the door didn’t even say goodbye. I was so upset by this I have completely changed all of my doctors from CMMC to St Marys, which is an incredible hospital. They’re doctors care. I have had more luck with three visits with their doctors and I have in four years with CMMC. There is no comparison. Bedside manner zero. I do admit he’s probably a good Orthopedic surgeon, but it takes an entire day just to get through one of his appointments because the wait is so long… every time I’ve actually walked out because I didn’t wanna wait anymore. I was so upset. My recommendations if you’re new to the area and looking for doctors go through Saint Mary’s. It’s worth the trip.

WOMEN BEWARE! He is extremely rude and condescending. Thinks he is better than all women. He sure needs to take some classes on bedside manners. Don’t understand why anyone would want to use him when there are so many better, kind, and caring doctors out there! Take a look at his Google reviews… Seems like he acts this way towards women. Me being one who has seen and dealt with this first hand. If I could rate him 0 stars I would he doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Excellent surgeon. Fixed my broken elbow and smashed heel.
