Dr. David Ismael Cabral, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Cabral for about 5 years! He is wonderful and Valerie and Alanna! But his office staff are really need more training! Can’t get returns calls and was treated very poorly by them and never get a call return and when they do it’s in Spanish! I don’t understand! Never had problem before! I don’t know what’s going on! But it’s very sad! I believe if Dr Cabral was aware of this it wouldn’t be happening! Hope they fix it soon!

He actually listens and seems to care about my health.

Dr. Cabral is nice and caring. Became his patient when I suffered 2 strokes. It was determined that it was caused by several existing issues. I have been on several medications to regulate these conditions. Almost every month there are no refills for medications that are to keep my blood and diabetes regulated. It has been a disaster. Pharmacy faxes for refill on 5 different medications monthly and no response. Pharmacy lends medications knowing how vital they are. Nurse is rude and informs me she has over 600 refills to deal with. I am a senior citizen and have a severe cold. They don't know when they can fit me in. This wonderful doctor does not have time anymore.

Dr. Cabral is extremely thorough and caring. He explains test results and discusses treatment options fully. He obviously cares about each of his patients and treats you with respect.

I've known Dr. Cabral for over five years. He took the time to get to know me and I really feel like he cares for me like no other doctor I've ever had. He is extremely smart and can solve even difficult issues, but what is great is that he takes time to help you understand fully what things are going on and how he plans to help. Best doctor ever, hands down!

As a healthcare professional and a patient, I very much appreciate Dr. Cabral's patience and excellent listening skills. He is an incredibly caring healthcare professional who takes the time to discuss your issues, provide information, and work with you towards promotion of health and treatment. He is one of a kind. His staff; Stephanie, Diane and Amy are very courteous, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend him to any adult looking for an Internist.

I told the Doc last time I was there, I wish I had found him 18 mnths ago when I first moved to NC. I recently had a mini crying episode & he grabbed me a tissue and talked to me 'til I settled down. He always pats me on the shoulder, in a caring way. PLEASE drop your current doctor and switch to him!

I have been looking for a new doctor. Being new to the state, word of mouth lead me to Dr. Cabral. My first visit, he listened to me, eye to eye contact, understood my concerns and current situation and offered answers. I think I may have found a new doctor. Yes there is a wait time, but that means he is taking his time with the previous patients and doesn't rush you off. He explains things in layman terms and is on top if issues. Thank you Doctor!

Dr. Cabral has been my doctor for almost 2 years now and I have never had a doctor as good as him. He takes his time and explains everthing in terms you can understand. He wants you to understand your health and how to maintain it. I would and have recommended Dr. Cabral
