Dr. David M Celestial, DO

David is an outstanding physician and an all-around great guy. He is very approachable, friendly and always eager to discuss your conditions with you. He's been my personal physician for well over a decade and I continue to be amazed at how much time he takes with me, regardless of the reason for my visit. I always feel as though I am his only patient for the day because he is never in a hurry to get completed with my visit. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with David Celestial as your physician. He's simply that good.

A fine Dr.

He is a good doctor (skills and course of action) but he has a very odd bedside manner. He is very "no touching" and a bit awkward. It feels like he doesn't care, but it's not that. I relate it to how people on the autism spectrum have trouble with socialization, eye contact, and physical cues. His head is down in his work (laptop) as you speak filling out info and you just talk to his body.

I really like Dr. Celestial. He spends the needed time with you. I will say I am thinking seriously of going someplace else, not because of the doctor but because anytime I call for an appointment or to change an appointment the call is answered and then transferred and you are put on hold. I have waited as much as 15 minutes on several occasions and then just hang up out of frustration. You are charged if you miss an appointment but cannot get anyone on the phone to change or cancel an appointment. I discussed this with Dr. Celestial on my last visit and he assured me this was getting better, but I have now been on hold for 10 minutes and that is why I decided to fill out this comment form.

The only issue I have is getting my prescriptions refilled. Sometimes it's insurance issues but a lot of times it's the office not responding to the pharmacy requests.

After seeing mostly military doctors my whole life, Dr. Celestial was a great change. He and his staff were there with me and were clearly interested in my needs and well being more so than any other physician and staff I have seen. I actually left understanding the how's and why's of his decisions for my tests and medications.

Dr. Celestial is the WORST dr I've EVER had contact with. Rude, doesn't listen AT ALL. I wouldn't refer ANYONE to him.

Dr. Celestial is very personable, always seems most interested in my well being, and is never in a hurry to finish. He is most thorough in pursuing what tests, etc. he feels are necessary for my well being and shows a great deal of concern for my as an individual.
