Dr. David Shao Kong Cheng, MD

Dr. David Cheng is very knowledgeable in his field and wants to help his patients. However, his wife Lily who runs his office over books him which results in long waits to see the doctor. She and certain members of her staff get very rude if you question them about when you will finally see the doctor. The office is also not cooperative in transferring medical records, even when another doctor requests them. The unprofessional manner in which Dr. Cheng's wife Lily and her staff conduct themselves prevents me from seeing Dr. Cheng anymore. I have no use for that unnecessary annoyance.

Dr. Cheng always takes the time to listen and explain anything needed. Only draw back is him using Dr. Ali as a back up dr. when he is gone.

Dr. Cheng has been my personal physician for the last 20 years and I did not have the same experience described above. I have found his office staff and his wife LiLi to be courteous, highly responsive to my needs and always accommodating. I could call for urgent appointment any day. My wait time has never exceeded 30 minutes, in the absence of medical emergency by other patients. Dr. Cheng has always been kind and caring to my needs. In addition, I have never had problems with co-payment and lack of receipts. This is a great office but the bottom line is that you cannot please every one. I will give him a 5 star, it is unfair that 99.99 of patients with positive views.

Terrible, useless doctor. Does not address your problems and is in a rush to be finished. Staff scams you for copay. Made us pay TWICE and does not give receipts. Go elsewhere.

I feel Dr. Cheng is very trustworthy and caring. He also keeps up on the latest technology and medical education.
