Dr. David Houlit Cheung, MD

Dr. Cheung made me feel just like a number and spoke down me at appointments. The physician lacked empathy during appointments and was dismissive of the symptoms I shared with him. I took medications as prescribed, never missed an appointment and followed the treatment plan created by him. He stated that my not feeling better was my fault and not incorrect medications or treatment plan created by him. He only allowed me to try one medication rather than try additional ones when medication didn't work during the months he treated me. The months I spent trying to get quality care to this physician set my recovery back, because I developed new symptoms to my few original ones. I requested a physician change and found a physician that provided me the empathy, professionalism and recovery plan that has worked to address my symptoms. Unfortunately due to additional symptoms developed while seeing Dr. Cheung my recovery was a longer process.
