Dr. David George Cope, MD

I am a 60 year old who is raising my 4 year old on my own. Dr Cope is his dr and mine! He is caring and fun and so great with kids. My grandson truly adores him. He is excited to go in and see him!! He knows what he’s doing and I trust him explicitly.

I've been a patient for many years and am very pleased with Dr. Cope. HOWEVER, the office staff is awful and seems to be getting worse. First of all, you are lucky if you get a greeting. If they do, it's a no eye contact, annoyed 'be right with you'. Then they leave you standing there as they keep doing whatever they are doing until they want to check you in. Besides the rude manners, they ask very personal questions very loudly so the whole waiting room can hear. A few samples I have heard: ' you've been sent tp collections several times', ' what are you here for ( the patient answered depression), are you still at (insert address and phone number). I also witnessed a nurse or cna make an elderly man who stated several times that he couldn't get up and couldn't walk and that he needed the wheel chair; give up the wheel chair so they could use it for another patient. The poor man could hardly move but they insisted and were quite rude about it. I could go on and on. The doctors at… the practice seem to be good but the office staff ruins any positive experience you may have had with the doctor. It's too bad...because they just lost a patient because of it.

Seen this Doctor many times over 20 years and is always the same caring person who is very informative and accurate. Will stay a patient until he retires which I hope is not for a long long time.

Dr. Cope takes care of my whole family. He has delivered my 6 grandchildren, and takes care of our little ones in such a kind manner. We think he is the best and are grateful for him and his staff.
