Dr. David Eustace Cummings, MD

12/2020 I had surgery to remove a large parathyroid tumor. Everything was normal for almost 2 years and I noticed many of my symptoms coming back. I had the misfortune of getting Dr Cummings 12/2022 and he said all the symptoms were in my head. He also claimed my lab result of 94 PTH was normal even though the lab had written high and normal range was a high of 65. He said my blood pressure of 164/105 was normal and that my dexa scan of my spine which was -2.4 was normal even though a simple search will show that is osteoporosis. He based everything on my calcium level being normal even though I told him it could be normocalcemic hyperparathyroidism which he had never heard of. I felt like I had to do the research and his job for him that is how incompetent he was. Now 3 years later I have a new endocrinologist because my spine is now a -3.7 which a sneeze can break a vertebrae although I'm sure Dr. Cummings would say thats normal. The new endocrinologist had me take a 24 hour… urine test and said I probably have another parathyroid tumor. This man should not be allowed to practice medicine on anyone.
