As a type 1 diabetic, Dr. Mauseth was my pediatrician. I am now an adult, and have since struggled to find a doctor to match. He set the bar too high :)

We first met Dr. Mauseth in 1986 when our daughter(since deceased in 1989)was diagnosed with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia. Our son, born in 1989, also received care. We couldn't have asked for a better pediatric specialist. He's kind, helpful, and intelligent and has shown unstinting respect, compassion, and interest in our family's lives. When our daughter was going through her tests to determine her condition, one of the nurse's at Childrens' Hospital in Seattle-who was pregnant at the time-said, "I want him for my baby's pediatrician." When a nurse says that, you know your child is in the best of hands.

When my daughter was born with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia we were sent strait to Dr. Mauseth's office from the hospital. He spent over an hour with me explaining everything about her condition until I really understood all of it. When she was around 2 years old we moved to Tacoma about 1 1/2 hour drive away. I continue to travel and see Dr. Mauseth because he is the very best. You never feel like just another number, when you visit his office.

My daughter (age 8) was just diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Dr. Mauseth has been a god send at helping us manage it as well as building confidence in ourselves. I can't imagine ever having a better doctor.

When my son (11 years old at the time) was diagnosed with diabetes, Dr. Mauseth was recommended to us by my son's pediatrician. Dr. Mauseth was extremely helpful, spent a lot of time with my son going over many issues even though our appointment was on short notice. He got my son going in the right direction, in using insulin, testing, diet etc. He knows how to communicate with kids and people generally. He has a nice manner, easy to relate to, but very knowledgeable. We moved out of the area after a while. We did not like having to leave Dr. Mauseth's care.

Dr. Mauseth helped me take ownership of my growth hormone treatment when I was in high school in '95. Highly reconmmended.
