Summary
Dr. Curran chose to study medicine because he wanted to make a difference. He chose pediatrics because of the innocence children possess. Kids dont intentionally hurt themselves, a child breaks his arm because he truly believes he can stick to the wall like Spiderman. Playing an active role in a childs health is rewarding, says Dr. Curran Its knowing what will work . . . Knowing the family and knowing that continuity of care will lead to asking the right questions and ultimately the best outcomes. But its challenging work too. The toughest part of my job is delivering bad news. Im a parent, and I understand what its like to see your child in pain.
