I never make reviews but I felt like I needed too. I was scared to take my daughter here due to all the bad reviews, but after my experience I can’t think of a single reason why people are rating him badly! He was so nice, treated my daughter good, fast and straight to the point. He even told her that she’s was so good and brave, made her laugh, did everything so gracefully and distracted her to make her feel comfortable and confident with whatever he was doing even it it looked intimidating. He even explained to her why she needed glasses even though she’s only 3 and didn’t understand anyways lol. He was even friendly to me and dad. I thought he was perfectly polite and thorough. I’m looking forward to her next appointment. Even the staff is nice and friendly, they answer the phone everytime I call, and are so kind.

I've worked in ophthalmology for 15 years and have never seen a physician treat as well as practice medicine like Dr. Day. He didn't perform necessary testing prior to dilation. Especially for a patient with esotropia!!!! His bed side manner was intolerable we walked out. Then he had the nerve to bill us.

Forcibly holding down a child to administer eye drops was awful. How about introducing yourself and explaining to the child what is going on. They are people too. Also, seriously stating to wrap painters tape around my child's head and eye as an eye patch is ridiculous. Even worse is when you stated that if they take that off, just use duct tape. Around their head with hair and eye. I understand being busy but inhumane is not acceptable. I have already alerted my regular doctors to no longer refer Dr. Day and am looking into other plans of action. The rest of the staff was great and the facility was clean. The doctor seems to hate children.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Day since 2010, he is her favorite Dr, because he gave her the gift of sight. She even named on of her teddy bears after him. He truly does care for your childrens well being, and is not afraid to scold them, and you if they loose their glasses. He may have brought tears to my daughters eyes one, but she so small just looked at me, and said he was right... she needed to keep better track of her glasses. She has ever since that scolding. He is a great Dr.

He is a great Ophthalmologist. He has been very proactive with my daughter's care, and made sure we had follow ups scheduled, as needed. He didn't even blink when I had to bring all of my 3 toddlers with me for one of their check ups, and is great with my daughter who is picky about who she likes, and has a speech delay. He helped guide us through choices regarding her strabismus, and is always willing to answer any questions that I may have for him regarding her care. He seems to care about his patients a great deal, and want to do the best he can for them.

I was recommended to take my son to Dr. Day and he was with my son and me just starring at my son. Didn't do an exam, only recommended eye patching but never explained my son's condition, or if he had any condition overall. I kept asking him questions but he kept dodging them. We went back for a follow up and just took a look at my son for five seconds and said, "He needs surgery and we will schedule for next week. Go to the front desk." And basically kicked us out of his consultation room. I switched opthamologists and the new office contacted Dr. Day's office for my son's medical records but wouldn't send anything over. It took them several months to finally get the records. Honestly, he was just horrible and so incredibly rude!

We have had so many parents complain about this office and the way they have been treated there that we are not referring people there anymore.

This doctor seems a bit "off". Like he's in a bad mood, or on drugs, or just has an ego trip. Something about him makes me uncomfortable. On one of my visits,he had one of his front office staff in tears by the way he was treating her. But the office staff are generally as cold and annoyed by patients as he is. When I would go by myself with my young daughter I thought he was a jerk. He would talk down to me and her or cut me off if I asked for any explanations of what he was doing. However, when I started taking my husband, the doctor was patient and respectful, and would show off his knowledge with lengthy explanations. Why two stars? He did actually help my preschool daughter with her eyesight, as far as getting her the right prescription after an eye surgery and helping her when other doctors couldn't. So I think he knows his stuff, he's just difficult to work with unless you take a male with you.

Horrible experience. My daughters have never seen anyone treat mommy with disrespect until today. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. My daughter told me that she just wanted to go out of there (age 3). The patient (in Kinder) said she didn't like the way that man yelled at mommy. Very confrontational from the start. So weird. I've never had an experience like this before.

He's RUDE! Period. This was my first time dealing with a child with an eye problem so I had no idea how the rules worked. I took her for glasses then brought her back a year and a half later when she said the glasses were no longer working well. Upon my return, he lectured me about not bringing her in EXACTLY 12 months in a very rude manner. As an adult who's also never had glasses myself, I always assumed you wear your glasses and then come back if you feel your vision getting blurry again to re-check your prescription. He was almost aggravated/annoyed that I wasn't back at the exact year mark even though their office never attempted to send me anything in the mail or call to tell me this was necessary. Oh! And just try to call and make an appointment! The people who answer the phone are just as rude and often hang up on you if it's close enough to the end of the day. How are they still in business?
