Dr. David Lester Dickensheets, MD

Dr. Dickensheets is my infectious Disease Dr. He has incredible insight, and he tells you exactly what he thinks and doesnt try to polish his remarks. I respect that about him. Hes been at this for some 20+ yrs, and seen many people recover. I did exactly as he asked with my wound, and its healing nicely. Wish there were more doctors like himself. He doesnt warrant the neg remarks I have read, but everyone has different experiences. If you want a Doctor that will give you the right remedy and tell you how to heal successfully, then Dickensheets is the one for you. His staff is just as experienced, and very efficient. They have been his staff for many years. Feel very confident and secure I am in the right hands. Thanks to all of you !!

No problems getting an appointment with Dr Dickensheets, probably because the word has gotten out about this man. Wished I had read the online reviews before making an appointment with him. I found the office is clean and the staff friendly and efficient. Once brought to the exam room, I waited about thirty minutes for the doctor to come in. I found Dr Dickensheets to be very rude and condescending. I didn’t feel like he listened nor was he concerned about what brought me to see him. I never saw him wash his hands which is very concerning for someone in his specialty. I will not be returning to him.

This egotistical jerk needs to get over himself & start CARING for his patients, especially ones like my Mom who needed follow-up care for a deadly infectious disease. That when we call to say my Mom can't afford $360 (after insurance) for your prescribed meds, can you prescribe something else, that someone needs to return our call. That when a patient is not getting better after 7 months of continuous UTI/VRE related infections, you don't NOT recommend follow-up visits. That you don't dare minimize the effects of MRSA and talk down to us, when my mother, brother (and nearly myself) almost DIED from hospital-acquired MRSA. Waited 1 full week for a returned phone call following a 30-day hospitalization to get a follow-up appt, finally they told me they would rather Mom see another Infectious Disease dr.

Terrible rakes in money off medicare. .. give wrong diagnosis. . And don't give a dam about his patients

Dr David IS VERY QUALIFIED and is very knowledgeable. Very thorough exam, great followup, and great results. An old fashioned Dr who knows what they are doing.

After an hour wait, this Dr. was rude and arrogant. Also misdiagnosed my husband condition.

Dr. Dickensheets and Nancy along with office staff are awesome. Always with a smile and caring for my medical needs. Always willing to listen.
