Dr. David Emilo Dominguez, MD

Review left for Dr. Dominguez: Dr. Dominguez really "appears" to care and listen to his patients concerns. He performed a rotator cuff surgery 1 month after a cortisone injection. Which is risky. After going to the office approximately a year, I was told I needed a shoulder replacement,. I believed Dr . Dominguez initially and scheduled the surgery. All other doctors disagree with his assessment. The MA was poorly trained. The MA who was fitting me for after surgery sling was rude and incompetent . The office was more concerned about going home on time then patient care. I felt as if I was being treated as an inconvenience. After 3 and 1/2 hours of the ma consulting with the supervisor she still couldn't get it fitted properly and told me to let the surgery center do it. The office manager was notified and did not call back as promised. This wasn't the first time that the office manager promised to get back to me and didn't. This motivated me to seek further medical… advice elsewhere. The office signed for a certified letter asking the doctor to contact me, which went ignored. Dr Dominguez seems financially motivated. There is a high employee turnover rate, which speaks volumes. My advice would be to go elsewhere.

My son and I have both been patients of Dr. Dominguez for the last 5 or 6 years, he and his staff are very knowledgeable and treat their patients with respect. He is also a supporter of youth and HS sports in the area.

Dr Dominquez is uncaring, unprofessional, and arrogant. His office is a disaster; disorganized, undertrained, they don’t seem to know what to do.

I consider myself very lucky to have found Dr. D. after a complicated AC joint separation in my right shoulder. The surgery was very successful and everything went very well, from the first consultation to the post-surgical follow-up.

Dr Dominquez is an excellent surgeon. He has a straight forward manner, yet has a very genuine attitude. His entire staff are extremely competent I had ZERO issues with pre, surgery and post. My recovery was 100% and extremely pleased with my outcome I am in my 3 rd month post and am able to do all activities. I highly recommend this Dr, staff to be your caretakers !!

Misdiagnosed me after 2 mri’s and said I had cervical stenosis. Told me that I would be a paraplegic if I were to get hit by a car. Sent me to a spine surgeon who told me nothing was wrong with my neck.

Dr. D. and his staff made me feel welcome and comfortable during my visits. Surgery was done successfully for two unrelated injuries. Thanks Dr. D!

Dr Dominguez took his time and from my MRI and his survey of my leg, identified the diagnosis gave me options right away. I elected the surgery. EVERYTHING went perfect from office visit to post surgical checks. Knee is like new now.

Dr. Dominguez has seen 3 family members: My 12 year old with a broken arm, my 16 year old cheerleader with associated injuries and me with my torn meniscus tendons. He is extremely knowledgeable and always explains the situation in great detail. He is open to questions and takes his time with each of us. I would highly recommend his services.

Dr Dominguez is one of the most caring and competent physicians I have ever had.
