Dr. David Marion Dragon, MD

I love Dr. Dragon, always a consummate professional. His nurse is the most unprofessional and rude individual I have ever met in any medical office. Why, if you hate your job, as she apparently does, does she stay in it?

He came across as indifferent and arrogant, and did not detect a fairly serious injury to my eye while I was under his treatment. It took the next ophthalmologist about 5 minutes to find the injury and ask me about it.

I have been going to Dr. Dragon for about 30 years now. I have had excellent care from him throughout that time. When my mother needed cataract surgery, she also used him. The results were excellent. I have the utmost confidence in him and would recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to Dr. Dragon by another opthalmologist after both corneas were injured in a car accident (due to a motorist running a red light and hitting my vehicle) and they did not heal after two weeks of treatment. He was rude from the moment he walked in the door (called me gal at some point) and seemed angry about the referral. Even after diagnosing me with Corneal Edema, which means blurred vision, light sensitivity, and eye pain; refused to give me a note stating this to take to my job. To make a long story short, I tried going back to work several times and was sent home due to my poor eyesight as the job entails alot of computer work. My lawyer asked Dr. Dragon for a letter to give to the insurance company to pay me for lost wages and he sent one stating "nothing is wrong with her and I released her to go back to work the same day as her appointment with me." Therefore, I did not get anything for lost wages, and for a week after the car accident I was blind. I try to see the… good in people but he is such a horrible person.
