I went to him for over 6 months with severe knee pain. Never did he once suggest doing any other tests besides the simple xray that had been taken by my family doctor. Just telling me I had minor arthritis. In constant pain I made an appointment with a knee specialist he did an MRI and found out my knee was totally gone. After the routine insurance mandated injections I had a total knee replacement .

In 2007, at 43 years old, Dr. DuPuy did a total knee replacement on my left knee, after 2 years of corticosteroid injections every 8-12 weeks. After surgery, the first time my PT came into the room and asked me to move my foot forward, my foot wouldn’t move. My brain was telling it to, but it didn’t. So, after months of complications, therapy and pain medication, with continued pain, I finally saw another DR. He said I shouldn’t still be in so much pain, and tried everything to determine why I was. 9 months after DuPuy’s failed surgery, this DR opened the knee up again, removed the entire thing and did it again. He said he would never have chosen that particular implant for my knee, and that the scar tissue was the most he had ever seen. While I got a little better use of the knee, and some relief, Now - 11 years later I am still on pain medication and on Full Disability because of DuPuy’s botched surgery. I heard after the fact that DuPuy at that time “didn’t really do knees”,… but he never bothered to tell me. He claimed I was having so much trouble because I was a smoker! What a joke. Had I known I would be dealing with this for the rest of my life and that it would adversely effect me for a lifetime, I would have sued. Unfortunately, the statute of limitations is 2 years. It was that long almost before I even knew this was going to be an ongoing problem. Wish I could put this guy out of business - BEWARE!!!

I was sent to Dr. Dupuy while on a medical leave. He 'assured' my employer that there was nothing wrong with my knees, did not even look at my x-rays for back or neck. I have since been diagnosed with scoliosis, caused by degenerative disc disease and had a full spinal fusion (3 18-inch rods, 48 screws, a 4 inch plate and 4 cages) and a cervical fusion (4 levels). Most recently I have had both knees replaced because of bone on bone arthritis (which is why I was on medical leave, and previously diagnosed by my own doctors). Do not trust anything Dr Dupuy says. He is being paid to say what they want him to say and clearly does not care about his patient's well-being. There are other excellent orthopedic doctors out there. Do not waste your time or money on this dishonest, incapable surgeon. He should have his medical licence revoked. I wish I had fought and exposed him at the time, but the physical pain I was going through took all of my energy.

Nice Doctor seems knowledgable but came in for one problem that ended up being something else that he doesn;t specialize in

Dr. Dupuy is horrible. He did surgery on my acl and I been in pain and severe swelling every since 2013. He put the graft in the wrong place and the surgery failed and I been in pain every since. I'm trying to find a Surgeon who will go behind him and fix it his screw up on my knee.

This man ruined my father's life. He used failed to use sterile techniques for what is suppose to be a "routine" minimally invasive procedure. Nearly cost my father his life. My dad is now permanently confined to a wheel chair because this worthless turd of a human being not only introduced staph into his deep tissues, but also failed to own his mistake and would have left my father to die. It was not until a large number of the doctors at Presby Matthews demanded that he perform remedial measures on the area that he introduced the staph that he finally decided to do it. Not only does this piece of poop ruin his own patients' lives, he is also known for being a useful tool for insurance companies who are battling injured workers seeking workers' compensation benefits. Employers' workers' comp insurance carriers pay him handsomely to testify against injured workers in depositions. He is a dream come true for insurance companies and defense firms ...... he is a nightmare to honest… patients looking for help. NEEDS TO RETIRE AND STAY HOME AND INSURANCE COMPANIES SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR PAYING HIM . THIS IS PEOPLES LIVES HE IS MESSING WITH.

Met with his PA for 2 appointments. Never saw Dr until sugery (less than 5 min) & only PA after. Took longer to recover. Never gave rehab advice. Would never go to him again. For all I know the PA did the surgery.

Dr DuPuy has to be one of the most knowledgable, caring & compassionate Dr's I've ever met. He has cared for my daughter, husband and myself. The last surgey was my carpal tunnel and it went like a charm. NO pain whatsoever afterwards, can't even see the scar. Wish he were more extensive in the types surgeries he cares to do. He'd be going all of my ortho surgery (and I've had my share).
