Dr. David Neil Dyer, MD

1st:Dr.Dyer's complete staff has been very helpful before & after surgery in late Jan 2021 for gastric bypass surgery.They are quick to assist in anything you need.2nd:Dr.Dyer is a by the book surgeon.He covers a list of questions an concerns before and after surgery.I have in 8 mo.lost from 351 to 243 at age 55.i haven't felt this well in my adult life ever.If your serious about weight loss an doing what he tells you then be prepared to SMILE alot at the new you.Every time i do a followup appt. with Dr.Dyer i thank him from my heart for this great new life i have.I have a long list of medical/physical/mental problems this procedure has cured.

Insurance left me withbfew options. Before surgery I saw him once where he read a flip chart w he th redundant info from the webinar I had watched. Day of surgery 3 hours late. No explanation. No care in the world. Beside manner is the worst. Spent 3 days in the hospital, saw him a total of 8 minutes. Morning check ins went like this..."did you drink enough water? " "No, I'm in so muh pain it hurts to swallow" "Alright, not going home today, see ya tomorrow." Then he left till the next day. Seriously! 1 week post op was more than an hour late. No one cared, not him especially. Front office are nice people but they do nothing about timeliness. He clearly does a lot of surgeries for the money. I dont even think he looks at my chart long enough to know my first name. Find a different doctor asap.

Although his bedside manner wasn't the best, he took me under his care when no one else would. I had a bariatric surgery by another surgeon who left me with major complications and serious infections. Without surgery, Dr. Dyer admitted me and started my antibiotic treatments, tpn, and pain management. After a week and a half I improved enough for him to send me home with tpn, and my last round of antibiotics. He continued me on this for a month with visits from a home health nurse, until the scans showed absolute recovery. It was a rough long process but with his monitoring and guidance I survived. He was very professional and thorough. He knows his profession and follows up. I owe him my total gratitude for fixing another doctors mistake.

Dr. Dyer was the perfect doctor and through his follow-ups I remain attached to my program.

I was referred by insurance to Dr. Dyer and I could not be more pleased. He was upfront and honest about what to expect and not expect with the surgury. His office staff is awesome! The continued care after the surgury has been outstanding. I have just celebrated my first year after the surgury and have the following results: 130 pounds lost, No longer take the 17 prescriptions required to survive before the surgury, no sleep apnea, NO DIABETIES - YAHOO The surgury performed by Dr. Dyers skill as a surgureon has given me my life back. I now exercise, ride my road bicycle, and just about anything I want to do. Dr. Dyer ROCKS!

This man has caused me to wish I had not had the surgery. My insurance gave me few choices. He hides his christianity well.

Dr. Dyer seems like a very good doctor however, his bedside manner with me before my surgery caused me to change doctors. I was already approved for a revisional surgery before I met him so the insurance wait wasn't necessary. I had two appointments with him and left in tears both times. I would not recommend him if you have problems with dealing with arrogant people.His office staff was awesome. Every person that I talked to and dealt with were prompt, accurate, and caring.
