Dr. David Atilla Fairweather, MD

Surgeon Fairweather was very good with his first appearance but AFTER my 1st of 3 surgeries, he was very sarcastic and belittling which previewed his god like mentality. My daughter picked up on this real fast (she works in the medical field) and told him how belittling he is plus MANY other things. One of my other daughters tried to find him in the hospital because he left me stranded in a bad situation without concern I was not allowed food or water for over a day which was not necessary, only his way of showing he is in charge. He did not explain things I needed to know when asked, he does not know how to listen to his patients. He will always remain a surgeon but never a doctor until he learns to listen to his patients and put them first. He also shows vengeance when he is challenged with questions and concerns.

I went to the E.R. for my gallbladder and would have been sent home if he had not been on call. He admitted me and did surgery that day. Dr. Fairweather was wonderful. He has a GREAT bedside manner and was very knowledgeable and confident in the procedure. I would highly recommend him.

Saved my husband's leg that was severely crushed in a accident at work. Will never forget how calm and compassionate he was at his bedside. Will recommend to friends and family.

I had one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. My gallbladder was seriously infected and I was on Eliquis. Doctor Fairweather knew what to do and when. He virtually saved my life and I will be forever grateful. He is knowledgeable, funny and caring.

Worst doctor ever! I was admitted into the hospital & he was the surgeon on call. He seemed knowledgeable at first. That changed once I started seeing him post-op. He did a urine drug test and billed over $5000 for this test, using an out-of-network lab. My first surgery didn't heal and he had to do a second surgery to start all over. Once again, It did not heal and he wanted to do a 3rd surgery. This is where I refused and went elsewhere. Worst bedside manner as well. He acts superior to you.

My daughter had an egg size hole scooped out of her left but cheek by this doctor. We had a 2:30 appointment. Showed up at 2 to fill it paperwork. At 3:00 he comes downstairs and looks at us and then takes some drug vendors upstairs and at 3:30 he is still meeting with them.

I went to the ER deathly ill. Dr. Fairweather was the one who saved my life on that very night. Dr. Fairweather will be one doctor I will never for get as long as I continue to breathe. I thank God for sending Dr. Fairweather my way everyday, this man was most definitely a GOD sent.

Staff is VERY unprofessional and rude

I would like everyone to know that if you are looking for a wonderful surgeon, Dr. Fairweather is exactly that. My husband was very ill, rapid weight loss within 2 months, nausea, vomiting, bloating, etc. After seeking medical attention to the point of exhaustion. The ultimate thing happened. I drove my husband to the ER where ctscan was done. They told us that he would be admitted. Later that night, Dr. Fairweather came in to speak with us. He treated us with the utmost respect. He explained to the both of us what was happening with my husband, and the next day he had surgery. My husband is now recovering, but Dr. Fairweather, has not left our side. We truly thank God for sending him to us. Finally, we can settle down. I highly recommend him. Diagnosis: Obstruction in the small intestine.
