Dr. David B Farman, MD

Extremely rude and shows no compassion - very condescending & actually argued with me. Stay away if you can, and choose a different doctor.

Lack of empathy and compassion. Not sure why he would insult someone when they are already down and out.

Dr. Farman treated my dad at the ER in Lafayette. My dad has a history of bowel obstructions and informed Dr. Farman of that. My dad has AFIB and was treated in the ER 2days prior. My dad sat in a hallway and was never hooked up to check his heart. My dad was nauseous and in pain. Dr. Farman told my dad he could handle this at home but to follow up first thing in the morning with his primary. My dad is 88 and had just come out of rehab. We took him home and he died hours later. His cause of death was bowel obstruction. I filed a grievance and Dr. Farman had his buddy Andrew Alaimo write a letter to me saying his treatment was appropriate.

wanted to kick me out because of insurance might not cover ???????????
