Dr. David R. Fischler, Md, MD

Dr Fishler is one of the best doctors I have he treats my asthma. He knows exactly what to do when I’m not feeling well he treats sleep apnea excellent Dr.

Avoid this doctor! He is cold, rude, condescending, and totally uncaring. His hospital "visits" are a quick appearance at the door to be able to bill. He spends no time with patients so is not at all familiar with what is going on with them. And seems completely unconcerned and makes no effort to help.

Dr. Fischler is a great doctor. He was very kind, thorough and knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed and Dr. Fischler answered all my questions. Judith Murray

He spent more time talking about himself and trying to persuade me then the interest of the patient. He just saw my uncle for the first time and he was extremely rude to the point that i have a letter and meeting with the patient advocacy team. This doctor was not interested in saving his life but ending a life. He should definitely be reprimanded!!

My 90 year old Dad was taken to the hospital with pneumonia and The Doctor happened to be making rounds that particular day at RWJ. We were so lucky! The care we have gotten in the last several months since discharge has been excellent. He is caring, compassionate and detailed in his explanations and treatments and what we are doing to help my dad recover. His office staff is wonderful, we never wait for our visits and we couldn’t be happier to have such care so close by.

After seeing my wife for a few minutes doctor decided that my wife had to be thrown out of the hospital. Never reviewing her chart or the fact that he was not responsible for my wife's blood issues. All he wanted to do is clear the bed. Did not care about my wife's pain or the fact that her blood was not within therapeutic levels. I've only did this one time in my life oh, and that was to have a doctor remove for my family service. When a doctor is so arrogant and doesn't care about the patient he shouldn't be dealing with patients. I've never wrote a review before but I thought I had to now.

I met this doctor briefly when I stayed in the hospital for coughing up blood he did, at the time seem "cold" in his comments to me. After visiting him in his office I have completely changed my mind, he is very concerned with my condition and is doing his best to make me feel better by managing my symptoms and he was more friendly overall.

After 30+ years of experiencing multiple pneumonias and consequent lung damage while under the care of top-rated pulmonologists, I was supremely fortunate to find Dr. Fischler, who diagnosed the underlying cause of my susceptibility. I've been pneumonia-free since. He is very smart, knowledgeable, caring, conscientious, accommodating, down-to-earth--and modest! It is a privilege to be his patient.

Dr. Fischler has treated my very elderly mother since 2007 and has been nothing but kind, patient and attending to her needs. He has been helpful when we have traveled and when she was in the emergency room for pneumonia, he began treatment and got her admitted quickly. He takes the time to discuss options regarding her pulmonary issues and he treats her with dignity.
