Dr. David G Frye, DO

This doctor is paid by insurance company to write false medical reports even when you have many years of various doctors visits and records. If you have to be seen by doctor for a independent medical evaluation consult with your attorney first.

This guy works for the insurance company and he is never going to say you can't go back to work-he would not work for them long if he didn't say that. I wish I would have read about getting an attorney before you even see this guy. I had no choice but to go and get "examined" by him and he over rode my surgeon. It's really not worth it for me to ask for a review because I am going back to work soon anyways, but what a joke and a scam all of this is. He totally sucks and is a liar and a thief, working for the insurance company so he is always going to lie for them. If you can see anyone else do it!!!!

Insurance carrier sends me back for another bogas IME because they don’t want to pay anymore,this doctor writes false medical reports because he is on there payroll and being bias this doctor is a joke so stay clear.

This doctor is only for the insurance company and by far is he independent, run as far as you can if you have an IME from this guy because he is paid by the insurance carrier to work against you and stop your benefits.

To begin with the lobby was sketchy inky one other patient. I get called back by an xray tech not an MA or nurse. No vitals were taken. He came in asked a lot of questions that did not pertain to the accident in question. Made me get in a gown. After pulling on my feet to make sure my legs were even. He measured my shin and thigh on both legs. Again not at all the area in question. He repeatedly hit my foot on my injured leg with a reflex hammer watching it spasm. Asking me how long that has been going on. I said no one has ever done that. I also asked that he stop because the spasms hurt. He barely looked at my hip. He didn't take any range of motion measurements. Which are minimal. Overall he was rude, incompetent, and had poor bedside manner.

I was in a serious car accident that was 100 percent at fault of other driver., I gave this hack all the documents, mri readings, doctors reports all point to my injury being caused by the accident. I thought no problem here, the evidence is overwhelming, yet he found against me. Unbelievable! Also I noted only two other patients in his office, Both filling out their 10 page questionnaires. So seems like all he does is issue adverse opinions for insurance companies. He’s biased for the fees he generates, The Hipppcratic oath is to do no harm, he’s okay with helping insurance companies do harm to people who are legitimately hurt, and unable to claim lost wages to even just to put food on the table. He is evil.

I seen Dr. Frye on 07-23-2018. After reading his reviews I was so scared and nervous go in and see him. I will not go by reviews anymore! Dr.Frye was very nice and polite and did not have any issues with him! Dr. Frye and everyone in the office were very helpful!

He is hired by insurance companies to provide a 2nd opinion that patients are at MMI (max medical improvement), allowing insurance companies to legally stop any benefits and payments for further treatment. If you are sent here for a 2nd opinion it's advised to immediately seek legal counsel!

I happen to see Dr. Frye at his office and he was not only the rudest most unprofessional doctor I've ever met but his ethics should be reviewed by the medical board. I wouldn't recommend him to ANYBODY. There are much more professional and competent surgeons out there than Dr. Frye.

Beware! This guy does not care about you or what you are going through. My advice is to run away fast and if you can't bring someone with you. You have every right to bring someone into your IME with you. They will have you sign paperwork stating you can't - don't sign. They will still see you and if they don't that's okay too. You don't have to sign. He was rude! I brought my dad because my husband could t get out of work and he said he will gladly go with anyone who as an IME. He was appalled! Say no to tests too. I could go on and on...
