Dr. Garfield is the best psychiatrist in the Chicagoland area and likely in the US. We have been through 4 psychicatrists before finding him. He is compassionate, kind, trustworthy and very intelligent. He appreciates human life and no matter how bad things seem, he is able to give hope that things will turn around, but most importantly, through his skillful intervention, hope of a better life is transformed to reality. He is a good man. He's simply the best. May God always bless him and the many lives he helps.

Dr.Garfield gave me hope when I didn't have any. No other doctor cared about me the way he did. I went to Dr.Garfield for over 20 years. He is the best psychiatrist that I have ever encountered and I have encountered many. Once you go to him, you will never find such a caring, brillant doctor again. God is smiling upon him.

Experienced in the treatment of military combatveterans with PTSD. He also trains/teaches other psychiatrist. Outstanding caregiver, teacher and humanitarian.

Dr. Garfield is amazing. He genuinely cares about and does everything he can to help his patients (many times going above and beyond). He is incredibly smart yet unpretentious, listens to and honors his patient needs / concerns and his responsiveness and follow-up are bar none. Dr. Garfield is truly one of the best doctors I have ever met. I have tremendous trust and respect for him. He is a great doctor and a great man!
