Dr. David J Goldberg, MD

Dr. Goldberg of Schweiger Dermatology Group is not to be trusted. I spent $1800 for one session of two types of laser treatment to get rid of the red and brown spots on my face. $1800 is a lot of money for (2) ten minute sessions done consecutively. Dr. Goldberg told me, “I would see a considerable difference after the first treatment.” I saw no difference after the first laser treatment. I went for a follow-up visit. Dr. Goldberg then said, “you will see no difference after the first treatment. It will take 4 -5 treatments to see a difference. The cost would be $7000 - $9000 dollars for laser work that takes very little time to do. Had I known I was going to have to do 4 -5 treatments, I would have never gone for the first procedure. Dr. Goldberg is not an honest person, and has an attitude problem. Do not use him for laser work.

Terrible Doctor , he performed wrong surgery, he is thinking only about money. Would't recommend him to anybody. Stay away from this doctor !!!

Court records show that Hackensack dermatologist Dr. David Goldberg has been sued for medical malpractice. In just one instance, he permanently scarred his patient on the face and neck. He cares only about getting paid, and his prices are ridiculously high. If you don't want to be scarred, look for a better dermatologist.

I deeply regret not reading the reviews before I was seen here. I had a small cyst on my chest that I thought would be a fairly easy case to treat. I initially saw Dr Neal Varughese. Young guy with little experience. He recommended he perform a biopsy to remove the cyst. I was really against it because i was afraid of scaring. He assured me there would be very little to no scaring and that it is a standard procedure. I agreed. At my follow up two weeks later he removed the stitches and saw it had developed into a scar but insisted it would heal nicely over the next month or two. Fast fwd two months later no improvement, so I decide to see Dr Goldberg for a second opinion. I waited over a hr after my apt time before he actually saw me and it was literally no more than 10 mins. He basically told me everyone's skin is different and have different reactions to treatment and that eventually it will heal someday. He showed no concern or sympathy for my situation and rushed out to his next… apt. I basically have to live with this scar now. Dr. Goldberg and his staff are completely incompetent to say the very least. I deep regret stepping foot in his practice. After reading all the negative reviews I almost blame myself for not doing my due diligence on his practice. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!

Dr. Goldberg rushed me through my appt. and did not explain things well. Very disappointed.

Have had procedures over the past 10 years. The care provided by Dr. Goldberg and his staff have made me confident that my personal health, and recovery from my procedures is their prime concern. I literally have placed my life in their hands and know the results will be favorable.

Wonderful experience-amazing bedside manner, confident, professional, quick work. I got an appointment right away. The facility is beautiful, quiet, clean. Eased all my fears about biopsies, took care of every procedure in first visit. Will definitely recommend.
