Dr. David Bruce Graybill, DO

I was referred through my orthopedic doctor at Arlington Orthopedic for pain management. I was hesitant about the about a procedure to block the nerves in my knees in hopes of decreasing my constant pain of my knees. Since I had met my coinsurance, I needed it done prior to the end of the year and explained my financial status. I spoke with my supervisor and arranged to take time off for two procedures but found out at the hospital on the day of the procedure it would take two more. I went back for a follow-up three days after my first procedure and was disappointed to be told they couldn't do a second required temporary procedure(sounds like a trial to me) two weeks into the new year which means a large out of pocket expense. To make matters worse, when the assistant came in to schedule my next appointment and told me the date, I explained that I had discussed with his NP on my last visit the terms of me getting the procedure and has taken time off work. I asked to speak to Dr.… Graybill or his NP and was denied the opportunity to speak to them after asking several times. I was in tears. I felt disrespected as a patient as well as lost trust in a physician I felt didn't take the time to the process. The hope of being able to have more mobility and less pain was taken in a matter of minutes with the staff being rude and unprofessional as well. I was enthusiastic as knee replacements wasn't an option with other health issues. If I had known I would be deceived, I would never agreed to the first trial and error. Maybe a step by step explanation and honestly would have saved me for one of the most disappointing days of my life

I found him to be personable, articulate, caring and very competent. His staff was caring and efficient. Three appointments and very impressed each time.

He has performed a few procedures on me and each appointment was excellent. Staff was knowledgeable, caring and very competent. The whole office was very impressive and organized. The doctor is knowledgeable and caring and treats you as if you were his only patient.

My story is very much like the last two reviews. Horrible office communication. Rarely returned phone calls by assistants and when returned, it's as though we never talked. Visits with doc were maybe 5-10 min., a stack of paper dumped in my lap with little explanation. Inflexible treatment plan. Doc will discuss nothing on the phone, you'll need to book yet another appointment. All about the money. Moving on.

If you like to have your phone calls ignored and appointments for injections rescheduled without ANY notice, by all means use Graybill and his partner in crime, Roxanne. Both of them need to be drummed out of the profession. When I got a RARE reply from his office, it was in a condensending manner. I and my insurance company pay their salaries! This seems lost on them!

I may chaange my rating later but so far, not impressed. Took 4 phone calls to get an appointment a month after the MRI he wanted me to take. Appointment ladies kept telling me they’d call me back but never did. I get to appointment 30 minutes early but unfortunately he didn’t come into the room until almost 45 minutes after my appointment time. Talks to me 3 minutes & leaves. I try the set up procedure he wants done & they cant get to me for another 3 weeks. Oh & he told me there were “changes” & thats why Ive been hurting. Whatever. Same pain Ive had for the last 25 years except the new ones Dr Burnett gave me when he did my neck surgery last year. Id go somewhere else but how do I know they’d be any better?

Very warm and caring Dr. Excellent at explaining what is going on and what he can do about it. Takes his time and makes you feel like you are the only patient he is thinking about at the time.
