Dr. David Greer Stewart

I started seeing doctor Stewart in the late eighties and early nineties along with my 2 children.After moving from the state I had a difficult time finding another physician that could even compare to Dr. Stewart's care and compassion. Whenever I brought my children or myself to the office, I was always seen promptly and always left feeling at ease and safe in knowing we had received the best advice and or treatment. My children now 39 and 35 remember him and still sing praises. After returning to the Mesa area after 25 years, I am hoping to be able to schedule a visit with Dr. Stewart for myself and 13 year old granddaughter. I cannot say enough about Dr. Stewart, he is by far the absolute best physician I have ever had the pleasure of seeing in my life. I first made an appointment with Dr. Stewart for a routine exam for a life insurance policy. In addition, I asked him a question relating to fibrocystic breast disease. I wanted to know if iodine would counter the effects of estrogen (hormone replacement therapy) and prevent cysts from forming. Dr Stewart researched this issue for me. Subsequently, I sent Dr. Stewart a letter with a lot of documents attached and asked for a follow-up appointment when I received an alarming opinion from another health care professional. Dr Stewart's explanations as to why the other doctor's opinion were wrong seemed logical and sound to me. I was impressed by the time he took to review my concerns and by his kindness and generosity--he did not charge me for the second consultation.

I have been seeing Dr. Stewart for about 6 years. He is always so kind and caring. I appreciate the way he takes time to listen to my concerns and I never feel rushed. We have a mutual love of dogs and usually spend a few minutes discussing the joy of dog ownership. I hope he never retires!

I had been seeing David since a teen. Somewhere in the past 10 years he just stopped caring. Did not listen to what I was saying. Just wanted to say that I was depressed and had anxiety. Far from the truth. It took me 6 years to find out what was making me so sick and it was not due to him trying to help me. FAILED. You need to retire. I had a virus. Completely treatable. :( that this doctor has lost his caring side and is now only in it for the money.

Dr stewart listens to the needs of his patients. Occasionally difficult to make appt. with him but has a P.A. Who is also very good. Uses a portal computer system to communicate after appt. Also will occasionally have his M.A. phone after hours for specific information or instructions. Shows mutual respect between Dr./patient relationship. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friend or family. Have gone to him for greater than 10 years. I am a retired R.N. Not an easy patient to care for. He is super
