Highly recommended! Recently had a inguinal hernia repaired by Dr. Grischkan. Everyone from the front office staff to the surgical team to especially doctor Grischkan were very professional and did a wonderful job. Dr. Grischkan personally called me to talk about my situation and the surgery repair he offers. I got in quickly, the surgery was quick and easy: arrived at 7:15 and was walking out at 9:45. Everyone was really great! You could go somewhere else and maybe save some money, but why risk it? He does a no mesh repair and has done over 26,000 cases! At my consultation with Dr. Grischkan he had explained what to be expected during and after my surgery. My experience was better than expected. I experienced no real pain, only mild discomfort. I did three 20-30 minute walks on the day of surgery and repeated that for three more days, as directed. I was told this is a key to recovery. I had my surgery on Thursday and was back to work on Monday. I would and have recommended Dr. Grischkan.

I had a severe umbilical hernia for over 15 years! I didn’t want to pursue surgery because of the horror stories - the overuse of mesh - extended, painful recovery period - complications that can follow… But I am SO thankful I found Dr. Grischkan!
