Dr. David Alvin Gubin, MD

Dr Gubin is the best urologist I've seen in Memphis. He is knowledgeable, informative, understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes his time to ensure your understand any health issues / concerns! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a urologist. His staff is wonderful! I walked away, very impressed with the overall experience. HIGHLY recommend.

I went in and saw Dr. Gubin for kidney stones. He was very thorough and explained exactly what needed to be done. He and his staff were very efficient in getting everything arranged very quickly. I had surgery the following day and did not have any complications from procedure. When I went in for follow up he even went as far as to do a work up to see why I make stones. Dr. Gubin did a great job! Would highly recommend him.

I came in to see Dr. Gubin for ongoing urination issues. He and his staff were great and he made me feel comfortable through the whole process. I would highly recommend him for any urological needs.

I went in with some urinary problems and Dr. Gubin was able to solve all my problems. He was very quick, but thorough. He answered all of my questions and was able to get my problem fixed with an outpatient procedure. He did a great job!

Dr. Gubin will likely spend less than 60 seconds with you. When I asked questions, he interrupted me midsentence. He is only interested in seeing as many patients as possible. If you see him, you will get poor medical care, poor bedside manner, and poor service by the staff in the lobby. He rushes everything, including surgeries.

This was my first visit. Front desk was pleasant. Even the first timer paperwork was a little less intrusive than normal. Nurse Ashley was nice as was all the staff. This was my first rectal prostate exam in 8-10 years and was the easiest one I have ever had. With my prior Dr., it was like he was digging for gold with his finger. Dr. Gubin was swift and painless. I was concerned about prostate cancer as it runs in my family. Dr. Gubin explained the tests he would run and other options concerned with my overall urological health. This visit to Dr. Gubin was one of best, if not The Best experiences with a doctor ever and I am 67 years old.

I go twice per month for testosterone shots and no matter how many patients are in there his staff gets me in and out of there with ease. The nurses are very good with wonderful personalities which makes going to the Dr very simple. Keep it up

Dr. Gubin dropped the ball with me in terms of treating me for kidney stones. Would not recommend him or his office staff. In fact his office will not return my call they choose to speak with my husband instead. Very poor quality in terms of bed-side manner.
