I am a psychotherapist with the foremost goal of supporting people who are hurting and walk alongside those who desire to grow in their mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being. I offer an integrative approach to therapy balancing active listening, reflection, feedback, problem-solving, homework, and goal setting. My role as a clinician is to cultivate an environment that best allows for you to explore, process, and challenge what is causing distress or preventing you from achieving your goals. I work with clients to integrate an approach that best fits their needs and therapeutic goals. I've found Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to be helpful approaches to a variety of client goals including anxiety reduction, depressive symptoms, distress tolerance, …interpersonal effectiveness, strengthening executive functioning skills, mindfulness, and emotion regulation.
