Dr. David Allen Hafler, MD

Dr. David Hafler is a board-certified neurologist with additional expertise in allergy and immunology who has dedicated 48 years to patient care. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Leonard M Miller School of Medicine and completed his residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital. His dual specialty training allows him to address complex neurological conditions that may have immunological components. Dr. Hafler is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Hafler practices at Yale New Haven Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus, both located in New Haven, Connecticut, and maintains an affiliation with Gaylord Hospital. He specializes in treating patients experiencing weakness, limping, and loss of trunk control.
