Dr. David Blaine Harding, MD

Great Doc. Excellent family doctor. Treats conditions he can and refers out for specialists. He has saved my life by identifying a critical issue during a yearly physical. He has a breath of experience and his referral list is awesome. He has been my Doc for 30 years and I have NEVER had a bad referral. When I needed it, he sent me to others who, like him, know their stuff. Reliable, thoughtful, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Dr Harding is an awesome Dr. , he listens to concerns and follows thru. Unfortunately because of his extremely rude front office staff, I can't stand sitting up front, checking in and out ect. One girl in particular Wanda, is absolutely HORRIBLE, I've personally been lied to by her and have heard her do the same to other patients. I was told the Dr wouldn't see me until I brought my account current, she even went as far to say Dr Harding said this himself! The truth is he said no such thing evedently she lies to patients often! I think she actually enjoys making patients feel uncomfortable. If it was for his rude front office staff he would get all the stars but because of them I rate 2! The office manager is just as bad!

Office could be cleaner and staff should know what medication they put me on if they did it. I didn't like being asked, each time I went for the last two years, for when I started a medication the doctor put me on. Should they not know this? Do they not take notes? Service was better 5 years ago.

Terrible wait for new patients to make appointments

Very experienced doctor, who quickly zeros in on the concerns of the patient and does good analysis to resolve.

Our family loves Dr. Harding!

Dr Harding does not care about his patients. The wait time just to be checked in was 30 minutes. It was a total of 90 minute wait before we were seen, however, pharmaceutical sales reps were seen promptly. When we were finally seen, we were rushed in and out and prescribed multiple medications that were not indicated because Dr Harding was not even listening to the main issue that brought us to him. It seemed as if we were an inconvenience to him and his staff.

He is a very well read GP. He keeps up on the science. In the 25 years I have taken my family to him, I have challenged him many times. He has always been well informed on current medical practice. He is very thorough when diagnosing and does follow up with your progress.He actually made a house call many years ago when my son had a very bad case of chicken pox! He's a compassionate, generous person as well as a first rate doctor.

Our family has been with Dr. Harding over 10 yrs and received competent care. The office staff are very nice as are Harding's two assistants (one an RN; the other a Physician's Asst). His own manner is good but not excellent. He tends to be a little perscription-crazy, and will give you more prescriptions than are sometimes needed. Referrals also easily obtained. Office has pro-life bent and will not do certain related things (like prescribe IUDs).

Dr. Harding's Olney office is one of professionalism and care. I have been going there for almost 10 years even though I have moved to a new city that is considerably farther. I trust in the doctors and the staff and feel confident to refer them to other families. The only frustrating part is the wait, but I would rather wait for great service than to be quickly given bad service.
