Dr. David John Heine, MD

Dr. Heine is an exceptional doctor who is both knowledgeable and friendly. I feel fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Heine is the best doctor I have ever gone to, hands down. I don't live in the area currently, but I schedule my appointments with him when I am back and still consider him my primary care physician. My entire family goes to him because of his excellent human relations as well as expertise in the field. You can relate to him and he really listens to you. He will tell you things directly and will find an answer if he doesn't have one for you right away. He is easy to get a hold of, email or phone calls. Also, the staff at the Decorah office is fantastic, you feel right at home.

I have been a patient of Dr. Heine's since 1999. As he has taken on more patients it is a bit harder to get an appointment with him, but he is simply an excellent primary care physician. I don't understand the review of not taking enough time. Every time I have seen him there is no feeling that I need to stop asking him questions. He is simply one of the most caring, professional physicians I have every known.

Very difficult time to get in if not an emergency. Sounds like there's new medical associate coming, but not thrilled with addition. I'll wait until I can see the REAL thing - Dr. Heine.
