Dr Herrick has been taking care of me for the last 20 years. He and his office staff are the best! I would highly recommend him for all pain management needs.

Dr Herrick has taken care of me for years. He and his staff are the most caring doctors office I have ever been in.

In our area he’s one of the only pain management docs around. Wait time in his office is absurd. He’s arrogant and the entire office has managed to catch the attitude that they cannot be touched. They will treat you as a number. Their time is more important than yours. They are jaded and have lost sight in true patient care. I never could trust anyone in that office and never felt comfortable going there. They’ll bark at you about what THEY are going to do to you and that is law. No empathy whatsoever. They don’t even consider what state their patients are in. It’s disgusting and nobody should want any part in it. Prepare to get worse while in his care. Not better.

I have been seeing Dr. Herrick now for years. He is a very nice man, he is a wonderful doctor and does all he can for you. He knows the body. He is willing to help you as long as you do what he says and he will take good care of you. Sometimes we dont always agree, but he is the doctor, not me. lol Remember, he to can have an off day just as you and I. Lots of patients, lots of hurting people. Pray for him so he can help you better.

They gave me a injection that was developed for animals and is not FDA approved for my spine injection. Almost died.

I have been seeing Dr Herrick for about 8 years or so. At first good office flow, good service with him seeing me at appts, nurses good, shots back, neck. Painin meds that worked at right level for my problem. Over last year...office time wait awful, practitioners coming in telling me their opinion, not acting like they have eventhough looked at my history, feel like a number, not a person. They just say...what's yourday problem? Well, look at my chart! How'd it backs are seriously damaging to real pain people, withdrawals, dripping doses low before time to adjust, no answer for problem, No More Pills y'all. I was offered a pain stimulator for my lower back. People please do research! Moving to electrochemical, the future, implants...No way, risks very high, many problems, then offered another shot in neck which I have refused for a year after almost suffering stroke. Dr Herrick said, maybe too much med, I will use lower dose. What??? Sorry, no go for me. Now wants Xanax schedule II… drug, have to go in every 3 months, more money for them, more trips for us. I am very disappointed at the changes. I have always gone by rules, why don't they. They are to keep us comfortable so we can live and do daily tasks to contribute to our lives and family, community. I am almost shutdown completely, backwards results for me! Have just made request for pain patch, never offered, we will see.

I have been a patient of Dr Herrick for more than 15 years. He is always very efficient, charming and goes out of his way to help.He is the best doctor I ever had and it is always good to see him. We need more doctors like him

Dr. Herrick is on two State Boards which I feel is in direct conflict as a Pain Management Physician. One is, "STATE OF ALABAMA OPIOID ACTION PLAN" and the other, Advisory Committee: "ALABAMA PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT'. On two occasions, I asked to meet with Herrick to discuss drugs I was currently being prescribed by another physician and the possibility of moving to him for prescribing being he was my pain management physician. I was told on the first occasion by his PA that I would be pulled from all existing pain medication and that was it, END OF DISCUSSION and basically end of meeting. Second meeting I asked SPECIFICALLY that I DO not see this PA, but rather a meeting with another PA and Herrick. I believe it was the same PA and Herrick was a no show. There was NO DISCUSSION about anything dealing with my case. She did not even sit down to discuss with me options, possibilities, alternatives - NOTHING other than decreasing my medication. They were reading a script… put forth by governing bodies in which Herrick serves as co-chair with no regard to the Patient, nor Patient History nor PATIENT CARE. I left from there DEHUMANIZED, UPSET, USED, BETRAYED, TREATED LIKE SOMEONE SIMPLY SHOPPING FOR DRUGS by someone who represents my physician but knows NOTHING about case nor seeming to have any interest and it was certainly not worthy of a co-pay. Now, Herrick as far as a physician. Well I'll see my dog's Vet first, at least he shows some PROFESSIONALISM and doesn't seem to let his political aspirations drive his practice.

Dr. Herrick has done an outstanding job in controlling my back chronic back pain.Thank you, thank you, thank you.
