The doctor never listened to me. Used everything he could against me. Called me very rude and unprofessional names in his office. Called me a cry baby and rushed me out of his office. Went in after surgery and he took 50 ml of blood out of my knee and send me back to work with a bad knee. I can't walk up stairs or for a long distance. And oh my knee is still swelling to this day. All I can say is to runaway from this doctor.

The truth is that Dr Hester has excellent bedside manner, unfortunately once your in surgery his attitude changes and you are now a paycheck. God forbid that you return with complications of a prior surgery because your no longer a paycheck but a headache for him now. You will be sent to his physical therapy clinic because he draws a check from there so expect lots of trips to there also. I witnessed surgery on a relative of mine and no one in the operating room knew I was related to the patient. It was a very interesting experience to see the attitude change from his office to when the patient can no longer hear. There was no compassion.

As a clinical studnet, I have had the opportunity to watch the prestigious Dr. David Hester work. Not only surgery, but also his examinations in his clinic. Dr. Hester is an honest and kind man who I respect significantly and aspire to one day become just like him: a smart, nice, and caring orthopaedic surgeon.

I had a great experience with Dr. Hester for my knee replacement. I have seen him for other problems as well. He is a kind Christian man that is excellent in his diagnosis and care for his patients. I would not hesitate to send anyone in my family to him. Thank you Dr. Hester

I had went to Dr. Hester as a patient already diagnosed with a bone infection in my toe. I had been on antibiotics for 6 weeks already. I was sent to him, since he was a specialist. He changed my antibiotics to Levaquin. Within no time, I stated having alot of pain in my joints. I called the office and spoke with Amber, who immediately asked if I had seen the commercial. I had NO idea what she was talking about. She talked to the doctor about my problems & called me back saying he wasnts me to continue taking it & he prescribed Mobic for joint pain. I did just that. When I went back to see him for the follow-up appt., he tried to tell me that I was not having all the side effects that I stated I had. (I think he was protecting himself from being sued, which I had no intention of doing). He told me he's given it to his family. I was on it for 6 weeks total. Apparently, this drug has caused some very serious side effects & people are suing. Again, I had no intention of that,… just needed help with the side effects. He wouldn't look me in the eye that day and had me leave saying to just call him back if I had more problems. (Let me say how serious the infection was-they were considering cutting off my toe). It seemed better, but I thought I better go back for one more visit to make sure it's gone ( I had it for 4 years from a horse accident)& didn't even know it yet. It took awhile to get really bad. I wanted to be sure I wouldn't have any more problems with it. I wanted them to do a follow-up MRI to be sure the infection is gone. After several calls to them with no call backs, I finally got Amber to respond. I had asked several times to speak with Dr. Hester himself, but they never would let me & Amber always stated Dr. Hester told HER to call me back. They refused to order a MRI, and asked me to call a primary care physician to order a blood test. I refused to do that since he is the treating doctor, not my primary care physician. Amber finally ordered the blood tesr. The results came back and she said it was ok & Dr. Hester will not order an MRI. I had several blood tests in my course of diagnosing & treating the infection, & we had to do bone scans & MRI's to make sure it was infected, not just blood tests. Since they refuse to treat me, call me or be policte to me, I have asked for my medical records and will go to someone else to make sure the infection is gone. It's sad thet he was more concerned with a potential law suit than treating his patient. Especially when I never said or implied I would be filing one, which I never did. Very, very sad!! I will never go back to him or have anything good to say about him.
