December 2024 X-Ray advised Special Attention. Noted by radiologist that February 2024 X-Ray showed possible malignancy which was overlooked. Area of concern had increased in size. Unrelated vascular system CT in March 2025 noted further increase in size as an incidental finding and advised follow-up. This was the first time that I was made aware of this irregularity. In April 2025, Dr. Huang acknowledged THAT HE HAD NOT READ the radiologist report for an X-Ray that he ordered in December 2024 PET scan in April 2025 showed a further increase in size and reiterated that a malignancy could not be excluded. PET scan report expedited to Dr. Huang the next morning. Crickets. Given the history of Dr. Huang not reading radiology reports, which is consistent with a rating of 2 out of 5 for his follow-up on US News and World Reports, I strongly recommend that patients avoid this doctor! It’s been over a year since the possible malignancy was visible in an X-Ray.

I have been waiting 6 months to schedule an appointment at Tallahassee Pulmonary. My CPAP is broken and I need and appointment right away but I was rudely told by a scheduler that my problem is not severe enough to warrant prioritizing me. This is an unacceptable wait time

I was referred to Dr. Huang in Feb 2017 for sleep apnea which was affecting my heart Afib. Dr. Huang's first appointment was June 16, 2017 and I was told he would set up a test and I would be called. On July 18 I received a letter from my Insurance, Florida Blue, approving the sleep apnea test from July 11 to Oct 9. After not hearing from Dr. Huang I called and advised Gayle I was getting close to the end of my test window. She apologized for the delay and said they had been having problems with Florida Blue. I gave her my authorization number and she scheduled my test for September 26. I took the test which confirmed sleep apnea and noticed that they had my name spelled wrong. I told them that might be their Florida Blue problem. My sleep apnea treatment will begin on October 24. As of today, October 15, I only have 10 more days of feeling miserable and waking up sick every morning. If not for the clerical error I would have had treatment 2 1/2 months ago. I hope my… cardiologist can fix this lapse.

Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Don't waste your time. Staff is completely incompetent.

Dr. David Huang is an extremely capable sleep disorders physician.

The least professional Physician I've ever seen. I told him I was having difficulties with CPAP and wanted to know hat were my options moving forward...(I knew most of them, just wanted to see what he'd say) without a second hesitation, he flippantly said: "Trach." As in; Cut my throat open. _____ you too, Doc.

I relocated to this area already with a diagnosis and on a medication regime. I have not been pleased with Dr. Huang over the past 10 months which is when I started seeing him. Making an appointment with him is hard and will take months whether you are a new patient or an existing one. Every appointment of mine has been at 8am or 8:15am and I am never out of the office before seeing the clock move 3 hours forward. He claims that writing prescriptions for a 90 day supply, which would make it easier on most patients since he is located in the state capital and the state insurance prefers 90 day mail away medication orders for maintenance medication, he says doing that is illegal which is untrue and is just making everything harder on his patients. Instead you get 1 prescription, then need to call his office 1 week before that prescription runs out to get another one, go to the hospital to pick up the prescription and try and get it filled somewhere, and then you get to do the whole… thing ALL over again the next month before you have to be seen again in the office for a horrific office experience. His bedside manner below par and substandard. He continually questions everything that you say and does not believe what you are saying because he does not have the disease. This is at least true for the younger patients. BASICALLY, beware and if you have the option to choose someone else, choose them because he will only drive you up a wall until you want to leave and are unable because he is linked in with all of the Pulmonologists in Tallahassee and will not transfer you to anyone else.

He was the only one to diagnosis and effectively treat my pulmonary issue. I had been through nine doctors in Tallahassee and numerous unnecessary procedures. He was recommended by three different doctors. I may have lost my business had he not figured out what was going on. I am very thankful Tallahassee has him here.

I have been treating with Dr. Huang for sleep issues for the past couple of years. I have found him kind and caring. Best of all, he listens to me and credits me with some common sense. Together we have worked through my sleep issues. I like going to his office because it is a cheerful place and the service is prompt and effective.

Rude, condescending, sob!
