I have been a nurse anesthetist for 40 years. I have been confused with Dr. David P. Johnston on multiple occasions, specially when I was assigned to MacDill AFB in Florida. I left Florida in 2001 and moved to Reno, NV and have since retired after 40 years of practice. PLEASE, if you are going to make comment, make sure you are not mixing us up. My ratings have been stellar. Thank you.

I do not recommend him as general surgeon. He doesn't listen to patient, always in a rush, bad bedside manner. He performed surgery on me and it wasn't completed properly so now I have to have a second surgery by different doctor. Needless to say I am not happy.

This Dr keeps you waiting in the room right at an hour. Unreal and unprofessional.

Waited for over an hour to be seen for less than 10 minutes! Dr. Johnston is rude and hurried... I will be getting a second opinion! Also, his check out staff is one of the worst ever.

Hernia repair, horrible wound, kept saying it looked "angry". Waited 1.5-2 hours for every appointment including 3 hrs late for my surgery. He spends about 4 minutes with you in the room total, no joke after you wait 1.5 hours, you get 4 minutes of his time. Horrible.
