My first carpal tunnel surgery was so successful and easy I just did the other hand..The exact same perfection this time around.. Highly recommend Dr. Kalainov!

When other surgeons at northwestern said it couldn't be done, Dr. Kalainov was confident it could be. The bottom puff arm arm had been shattered. Dr. Kalainov re-constructed it, even making artificial parts to replace pieces that couldn't be replaced. He finished the surgery much earlier than he anticipated, so he did some carpal tunnel surgery on my hand. I knew it was bad, but I didn't know just how bad until he told me. I woukd recommend him in a heartbeat. WARNING: he hates when you don't take your therapy seriously or you don't do the best that you can. Lol, I have first hand experience (no pun intended).

knows his stuff but seems a lot more interested in filling out the form on his computer than actually talking to the patient. you only see him for a minute or 2 tops and beware: once he leaves the room, you'll never see him again. once I had a follow up question and could SEE HIM standing 10 feet away from me... he told the nurse to tell me he was "busy"

Smart and empathetic. Great doc.

I was really lucky to get him to fix my wrist. You can not have a better one.
