Dr. David H Kiner

Mistake after mistake. Seriously dangerous.

I haven't been in since about 2009. The staff is unfriendly with the exception of the blonde up front Amy maybe Annie too pretty for the office . You wait 1-2 hours and the older lady in the front that hides does not have any social skills and stares at you while you speak to the receptionist , the nurse was ok i forgot her name she was spanish decent and the doctor you see him at a desk and it feels more like an interview. I think he likes to talk and sound smart...he is smart though. I came on here to maybe go back ( looking for the phone number and saw the review thing) but the comments are frightening.

Wish I could say more positive things about Dr. Kiner. I have seen him twice now and I won't be going back. I'm prone to high bloodpressure and it was also indicated in my EKG that I have high blood pressure in my lungs, though he just seems too laisse fair to me. I went to get a physical and a couple other things and he completely blew off my physical and just gave me the write up for the other exams. Also, he's only in the office until 1:30 so you better get in or suffer, he's just completely unavailable to anyone that works. His staff on the other hand has their act together.

Find a different doctor, for your sake!

Although I had read some of the reviews about Dr. Kiner, I decided to make an appointment with him anyhow. I am somewhat new to florida and struggling a bit (without great insurance) so finding a good doctor has been a long, long process (over a year). I first set up a routine appointment with no major concerns at the time. I was very pleased with his bedside manner and vast knowledge and experience, especially with certian medications. I have been on the same medications for years without any other doctor catching some interactions. About a week or two later I started experiencing terrible migraines and back pain. He sat, listened and offered me many types of treatments. I had tried them and he said to call if they were not going away. When I did, He actually took the time to answer and we talked more to try to figure out the diagnosis. We finally figured it out, and I have been feeling 100% better. I could not be more appreciative to Dr. Kiner and his staff, including Debbie the… Receptionist, they are simply the best! The ONLY downfall is the wait, but I always bring my schoolwork with me and I expect it will take a while so It doesnt bother me as much. Great Doctor!

Dr. Kiner's office has to be the worst most disgusting offices I have ever been to! They called me,they scheduled my appointment.I get there and the office was packed! I waited for an hour and a half before I was called to the back then I was horrified to see the condition of the rooms torn ripped chairs and patient bed,rusty furniture, the floors and walls were filthy, every thing looked like it was from 1970. Every where I looked there were brochures posters and signs about medications( He fills rx in office ) Which made me feel like he's one of those pill pushing Doctors.And finally after 2 hours and 15 minutes I had enough The doctor still hadn't seen me and I was so grossed out and annoyed I left.As I was walking out I informed the receptionist and nurse and neither one of them said one word they just stared at me like I was crazy!!!

Not only did I wait an hour and a half to see the doctor, then I waited in a room for close to 30 minutes then when I finally saw the doctor, he was very cold and unfriendly and simply asked me "Why are you here today?"... I told him my one medication that I have been on for 8 years and he said I would find the Rx at the front desk on my way out... when the receptionist gave me the script it was written completely wrong, it was a different medication and the dosing instructions were way off.. when I brought this up to the receptionist and nurse they told me that if that is the way he wrote it then that is what he wants me to take and how to take it. How can a doctor switch up my med and cut it by 2/3rds of a dose after 8 years of taking the same med and it working great for me. The nurse was extremely rude and when I asked to talk with the doc again they told me I couldn't and that the script was final. What a horrible experience, I left there feeling very upset and uncared for.

If you want to be medicated, that is the doctor for you. He doesn't listen, just writes prescriptions and send you on your way. I will not be going back.
