Dr. David Lee Klein, MD

You know why he lied to me about leaving lifestance health? Because he found out I was a computer genius from 11 years ago that got into trouble with the federal government and trust me I paid the consequences and they wanted HIPPA information from him. So I'm sure they came to him and asked to do what a lot of doctors did to me in the past and he refused. I found out today he's still working for lifestance. You know what that shows MORALS and character and intelligent enough to know when to see BS. He challenges you because he is trying to understand the root of the problem not the leafs on the tree. He challenges you because that's what a doctor should be doing, but for people with anxiety you have to simply tell him I am feeling anxiety right now with these questions. Just be completely honest with him tell them they are overwhelming you he does have a habit of doing that. If you're looking for a candy man he's not that kind of doctor you want controlled substances are more of a… last resort. Just be honest with this guy and I promise he will help you. If he helped me with all my mental illness PTSD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD I'm sure he can find a way to dial in your meds. But meds don't simply get dialed all the time in the matter of one month depending on what you're illness is maybe. Give him time and he will grow on you.

I'm only writing this to warn others so you don't go through what I went through. I've had to take some time before writing this to clear my head and to push myself away from the negative I felt after my appointment. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this doctor. He will make you feel worse about yourself and come at you in a more aggressive way than what he should. No empathy whatsoever and he doesn't even act like he likes what he does. I should have listened to my inner self and stopped the appointment before it could conclude and I also should have looked up reviews before blindly going into this appointment but live and learn. Unless you like being talked down to, a doctor who is condescending the majority of the time and will insult your memory if you forget sometimes then by all means make an appointment but if you value your mental health and are actually seeking help then I suggest you look elsewhere.

I went to visit the doctor with Great Hope based on the reviews from Zocdoc.com . He is the worst doctor I have seem. The hour I spent with him was the worst hour of my life (He was condescending, lack empathy and any kind of emotional intelligence) Knowing I had ADHD and Anxiety, he interpreted me, every time I tried to explain something. He didn't prescribe me anything and didn't give me a follow up. I left feeling worst then I come in. This was a waste of my $350 and my time.

I had a very similar experience with Dr.Klein as the last review written. I felt as if he was being condescending and as if I was being interrogated. I felt very judged by him and was not provided any guidance. He would interrupt me and tell me that my answer to his questions were wrong, then making me feel, as the other review started, backed into a corner and very uncomfortable. It was difficult to answer questions without feeling judgment.

Somewhat condescending and made a lot of negative insinuations without providing any guidance, suggestions and/or recommendations as to a plan of care. When asked questions he would then challenge every response I provided and I felt backed into a corner to the point that I did not know what to say that would not warrant a snide correction. I was extremely disappointment and left feeling like I had been interrogated and very discouraged.
