Dr. David Aslan Konanc, MD

Awful. Just awful. He should be a prison warden instead of a doc. Do NOT waste your time seeing this guy. I’ve never had a doctor NOT ask, “How may I help?” Or “What are you here for?” INSTEAD, he walked in, shook my hand, and filibustered me. Amazing, I wasn’t able to talk. Finally, I raised my hand to stop him and ask 2 questions….which he DIDN’T answer. I interrupted him to ask, “Why won’t you answer my questions?” RESPONSE: “You’re delusional.” WHAT?!?! After realizing my jaw was hanging open I said, “Did you REALLY just call me delusional???” Repeat: He NEVER asked WHY I was there CURRENTLY— only that he’d read my file history and (I guess?) no questions allowed. Forget if I have anything NEW to ask about. What a complete @sshole. Drive an hour there & back to be “seen” by the biggest jackass ever. No wonder he had the first availability.

I saw Dr. Konanc for a post concussion review. He was friendly, patient, informative, and answered my questions. He even showed me some exercises. If I ever need a neurologist again, I will call him.

No matter what a doctor told me he knew better even though it was the other doctor's specialty. His office does not schedule appointments every 12 weeks for the botox shots I'm getting. They have no problem changing an appointment, but if I NEED to change one they give you grief. And don't ever cut the time close even if it is the fault of the office staff because it will always be YOUR fault. I would not recommend this SOB to anyone, but I need my botox shots so I try to keep my ears and mouth shut.

I have never wanted to curse out a doctor so badly in my entire life. Dr. Konanc is one of the most arrogant and rude doctors I have ever met in my life. I came in (as a last resort) for headaches after being referred by my PCP. Long story short, he straight up told me that the reason I haven't lost my baby weight is because I overeat and what I do eat is bad. Um do you watch me daily and see how much and what I eat? No. And secondly when did you become a sleep doctor, PCP, ENT, Hepatologist, etc.? This guy thinks he knows everything. Worst experience with a doctor in Raleigh.

Office called to cancel app, while im sitting in the waiting room, im sitting looking @ the lieing receptionist which tells me doc is leaving office early but he cld see me 2 hrs later! Yes I wad 30 min early to my appointment, I received the ph call day be for to be sure to arive 15min early... All of this was bull crap and senseless, esp whn iv had to get a ride and travel over a hour away! He went ahead seen me, in a rush told me he was goin to send me for lab work which he wld have results from the next day and wld the send my prescriptions @ that point! Never heard a word I called bk @ the end of 3 days later and they dont have anythg showing I even had lab work done! They later called w NO apologies and I still dont have prescriptions! I WLD NEVER recommend this place or him 2 no 1!!

he checks for whAT the primary sent you there for, but if it is not that, he does not bother to try something else, he does not seem to care for finding what is wrong with the patient.
