If I am to put my well-being and my life in someone's hands, those hands will belong to Dr David Kooby. He has always been caring, direct and honest with me making the difficult decisions I've had to make through my struggle with cancer a little easier. I cannot find adequate words to describe the warm feelings I have for this man.

When you are dealing with difficult decisions, Dr. Kooby is exactly the kind of doctor that you want to have. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, he clearly lays out the options and risks, and his warm and caring bedside manner is special and not typical. With Dr. Kooby's guidance, I know that I made the right choices in my care. He always takes my calls when I have follow up questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Kooby.

Dr. Kooby is a jewel among doctors. I am very grateful to be the patient of such a kind, caring, skillful, and appropriately forthright surgeon. I have a stomach tumor in an area that is difficult to operate on. Dr. Kooby explained why the surgery is difficult in a manner that was understandable. He appreciated my fears and was empathic. I wish all my drs were like him.

De. Kooby is one of a kind. With all the doctors we have seen in the past we have not found one more caring then him. He performed the Whipple and got the cancer out of me. Love the way he would come into the hospital room and sit on the side of the bed and talk to me like we were old friends. Had some problems during the chemo treatments that was hospitalized for but my wife called Dr. Kooby and he talked to the Dr. that was talking care of me. Even though I was not in Emory he was still looking out for me (he is the only one my wife trusted).
