Dr. David Mc Kenzie Kraebber, MD

If you have kidney stones this is the doctor you want to see. I had large kidney stones and they fit me in for a procedure with Dr. Kraebber at the Surgical Center. I did not go home with a painful stent. Next day I was pain free. He is excellent and we are lucky to have an experienced, knowledgeable physician in Wilmington.

Had an impersonal rushed initial visit. The office did not send me blood test order as promised (had to call). Dr Kraebber missed first scheduled virtual visit because he did not have lab results and would not wait 5 minutes to have the results faxed to him from the lab before he left the office. He nor his staff came on the line for the second virtual visit for over 40 minutes. I gave up after an unanswered telephone call and 40 minute wait. They called me later and asked me to rejoin the virtual visit. I tried to rejoin the virtual visit but it wouldn't let me join. Called the office to get them to let me into the virtual visit but only got voice mail. No one called me to see why I wasn't online. I called the office the next morning...no return call. I was waiting for results on possible prostate cancer so if this is not a perfect example of medically irresponsible behavior I don't know what is.

My 93 year old father saw Dr. Kraeber on a Thursday. Dr. Kraeber wanted to start my father on a new medication. He stated that the prescription would be sent to the pharmacy. Five days later, 5 phone calls to Dr. Kraebers office, and still no prescription. I did receive one call back from the Dr's office on Friday afternoon (4:56 pm) and the employee stated that Dr. Kraeber was not in, and there was not anyone else that could "authorize" the prescription (apparently dr. Kraeber had not notated the prescription in my father's file). He also stated that the prescription would be sent to the pharmacy by Monday (it's now Tuesday and still no prescription) at the latest, and that there was no "rush" to get the medicine started. It is apparent that the patients, at least my 93 year old father, is of no importance to Dr. Kraeber and his clinical staff. My father will NOT be returning to this office, nor would I recommend Dr Kraeber to anyone else.

He is a very good doctor and very caring about his patient. I would reccommend him
