Dr. David S Larsen, MD

Dr Larsen has done a great job treating my migraines. He has a great practice and ensures that it is up on the latest techniques and treatments. Glad that I was referred to him.

Dr. Larsen is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The first appointment he's so nice and confident that he can cure you and knows exactly why you're having migraines. At the next appointment, he claims that migraines are SO complicated and that now your brain has learned how to have migraines and he may never be able to fully be able to get rid of them. He then tells you that you said one thing, when you didn't, argues with you, then gives you excuses as to why he hasn't called your other doctors like he said he was going to from your first appointment. He states that he doesn't get paid enough from insurance and that making phone calls aren't paid for by insurance and he does that on his own time. He obviously makes very good money since he owns his own practice, barely works full time hours and drives a high end SUV with vanity license plates. Beware of this doctor. He has a plaque with a long list of extra fees that aren't covered by insurance before you even make it to his front… desk in his office.

This crook neglected to sign my Mom's prescription, so pharmacy needed a corrected form. He sent it by fax, then had the nerve to charge my parent's credit card $25.00 for sending the FAX, which only needed to be sent because of HIS mistake. Beware.

Dr. Larsen has helped me with my migraines. He has given me several options to try and he has also worked with one of my doctors to coordinate treatments.

This doctor said to my face at my appointment time that "he can't treat me" because I would not provide my SSN, then his office secretary proceeded to charge me $150 for a missed appointment. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! Very dishonest.

Fantastic neurologist. I have been going to him for probably 8 years now and under care of a neuro for about 20 years for migraine. Top notch.

After 3 years of abiding his ridiculous rules of medication list and cancelation fees, he charged us $75 ( when it says $50) for a cancellation. I called on a Friday at 2:50, they close at 2pm to cancel a Monday appointment for a family emergency. He would not budge, charged us anyway. There are absolutely NO hours posted anywhere and they barely answer the phone when they are there.

As a patient of Dr. Larsen's for the past four years, I can say that he is knowledgeable, is committed to finding the best solution for me based on my needs, and always makes sure that all of my questions are answered. The office staff has always been very helpful too, which is an added bonus!

My Dad had a prescription faxed to Arizona by Larsen only to be advised by the pharmacy that Larsen forgot to sign the form, so the prescription could not be filled. Dad called Larsen's office asking them to send a corrected prescription with doctor's signature. Larsen's office had the gall to charge my Dad's credit card (which they had on file) a $25 fee for sending the corrected fax. Nice little scam to make more money, wouldn't you say??? So, not only is he arrogant, he's a cheat as well.

I feel Dr Larsen is very knowledgeable and explains medical conditions thoroughly. Prior to seeing Dr Larsen, i was functioning at a minimum and now I am able to function and participate in activities. There is no long wait lists either to see the Dr.
