2022 was a very hard year for me, not only physically, especially psychologically, but I found the best surgeon anyone could dream of. Dr light is a great professional and also a great person. He was by my side in my three surgeries with him and I feel very lucky. I remember when he held my hand in the operating room moments before the anesthesia and my fear disappeared. All his team from him in the office are also fantastic. Thank you. I 100% recommend him.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 38. From the moment I met him I knew I was in the best hands. My breasts look amazing! He also has outstanding bedside manners. Morning of my double mastectomy I was cool as a cucumber because of him. He also listens to his patients and what they want and let me tell you the results are better than you have envisioned. He explains everything and is honest. In 2022 I had Dr Light perform 3 surgeries on me. My double mastectomy was my first ever surgery that was Jan 24,2022. Here’s an example of what an amazing surgeon he is. During my fills with the expanders I tried to over expand just a little I handled every full like a champ. No discomfort or pain so I figured I would be fine. Well during the night I woke up in excruciating pain. I called NYBRA as soon as they opened. They told me Dr Light was in surgery till 11 and he would call me as soon as he was out. His surgery ended earlier and he called me back as soon as it… was over. I explained what was happening and he gave me 2 options I can go and one of the assistants can remove the fill or I can wait till tomorrow when he was back in the office. I told him I would love to wait but I couldn’t wait. I went straight to the office and wouldn’t you know as soon as the fill was removed and I opened the door there was Dr Light checking to see if I was ok. That is a doctor that cares about their patients. On April 15 he did my exchange surgery and then on Oct 28 he did a revision to go a little bigger and to fix small ripples that had appeared. In March I start my 3D nipple tattoos with an amazing tattoo artist with NYBRA.

Six years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was given the name of Dr. Light by my breast surgeon. I knew he was going to be my doctor after my first consultation. I ultimately decided to have a double mastectomy. No easy decision, but Dr. Light was MY light in the middle of my darkness. His kind and caring demeanor were always present - at every doctor visit as well as in the hospital. It was his hand that I held right before I closed my eyes for the almost 7 hour operation. I will never, ever forget that. Although, my breasts are not the ones I was born with, they sure are pretty! Dr. Light made me laugh when he said "we turn the clock back about 10 yrs" - and he made good on that statement. I can not be more happier with my end results. I guess the best way I can describe Dr. Light as a surgeon is - he made me feel not broken - any woman who went through what I went through knows the magnitude of that statement.

What can one say about the doctor who literally has changed your life for the better, just by knowing him. I was referred to Dr Light for my breast reconstruction after a double mastectomy. First off his office has been the most professional office I've been to in quite some time. For the times I've had to call them with a question or concern, they have never made me feel like I was rushed or I was a bother to them. They have all been so kind and understanding, in which you don't find very often now a days. Secondly, Dr Light has been a God send during my journey thru breast reconstruction. His understanding and compassion throughout this process has been such a blessing, and i couldn't imagine going through this with any other doctor by my side. Dr Light takes the time to look, listen, make a plan, and execute beautiful results. I am always amazed by the artistry of what these doctors do, and Dr Light is definitely the best of the best there is out there. No one ever expects to… have to go thru breast reconstruction, but if one does and you're looking for a professional, kind, compassionate and remarkable surgeon, i'd highly recommend Dr Light as your surgeon. I promise you you will never be disappointed.

Dr. Light is an amazing doctor. Dr. Light’s ability is rivaled by none. He is compassionate & makes you feel like you’re his only patient. Other doctors that I have seen can not believe his work . I had a bilateral mastectomy & my breasts look as good as they did before surgery! Thank you Dr. Light.
