Dr. David Louis, MD

Dr Louis is friendly, easy to talk to during the office visit. He takes time to listen. I have been with Dr L. Over 20yrs. Never had any issues with Dr L. and his office staff since I only go in for simple check up. However due to my lately’s illness, I found out that a qualified good doctor should also ask patients questions if they possibly experiencing other symptoms that relates to what the patient ‘s current complain of their discomfort. This is how I got missed diagnosed and after symptoms dragging on for a few months, he found out what was the cause of my symptom due to i insist for a lab test. Another things I don’t like is seems like the office never informed patients’ lab test results if you have some problem picked up from the lab test via over the phone and treat it as urgent issue. Not sure if they are over loaded with too many patients and no time to review each lab result that comes in evyday.They make you to call them to follow up if the patient is interested to… know. I believe doctor should be able send in the prescription to pharmacy for the patients once they see the lab result. I don’t see the necessary to go over the test result face to face with the patient in order to prescribe the medicine base on the lab test result. I feel it really bothers me especially when you’re feeling extremely sick and needed the drug ASAP. This is so inconvenient. Also , I found out the office seldom reply medical questions over the phone. What ever concerns patients have, his office staff would ask you to come in to the office to talk to Dr L. Even just for some simple questions. In terms of making appt, they’ll try to squeeze you in to their schedule if you insist that you needed to be seen. I hope to see doctors in general need to put extra effort to accurately diagnose the patient in a timely manner. This practice could help safe someone’s life if treated early for certain diseases. Especially there is a lot of waiting to be seen by pcp, specialist , hospital appointment if there’s any urgent medical issues found. Unfortunately, the doctors that I have been seen for my past few months seem to be not really staying on top of my case. I do feel tired to keep pushing these dr especially when you’re so weak to even talk.
