An accomplished athlete himself, he has advocated living a healthy lifestyle with an attention to detail that has lead him from his home in Venezuela to the halls of Congress as he used his considerable skills to champion for healthcare causes early in his career. Fluent in Spanish and English, Dr. Mandelblum has sat on numerous review boards as his professionalism and judgment have been a desired asset to his peers for many of his 16 years in practice. After completing his residency and receiving first place in the Annual Academic Competition at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Dr. Mandelblum moved to Florida and continued his advocacy of healthcare issues through his association with the American Medical Association (AMA).
