If more stars were available for my rating, Dr. Markel would deserve all of them! He is simply an outstanding doctor and orthopedic surgeon. Knowledgeable, professional, personable and patient are among the qualities that I look for in a doctor. Dr. Markel has them all. In addition, I have never left an appointment with him having any questions or doubts as to what has been discussed and have total confidence and trust in him. I am very fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Markel.

He was pleasant but didn’t explain much and left without completing or updating my file or filling my order. But his assistant was great

Dr. Markel is not the doctor for me. If he can’t do an injection in your knee or do surgery on you he shows NO interest in you at all. I found him to be very cold, abrupt, disinterested in me and didn’t even bring in my x-rays to show me where the problem was at.

Dr. Markel is a great doctor and I am so fortunate that I found him. He is excellent in every way with a super personality and a person you can trust. He replaced both my knees with a wonderful outcome. He makes you feel at ease and his staff is so organized and wonderful to work with. My pain is gone and the process was well worth it.

This was my first time to meet Dr. Markel. He seemed very nice, not in a hurry and seemed confident of my diagnosis and potential treatment plan.

Dr. Markel replaced my right knee 17 years ago and my left knee 1 year ago. This year, Dr Markel followed up on a fractured femur surgery, that I had when I fell on vacation in another state. Dr. Markel is very professional and an excellent orthopedic surgeon.
